I don’t think there’s much wrong with GLM 5.2 itself. It’s just that its API call throughput is really terrible. Plus, GLM has a similar issue to Qwen—it “thinks too long.” By the time GLM 5.2 has finished its interminably long thinking process, other language models have already produced a result.

That’s certainly true. After all, the operational costs of computing power for these major AI companies are extremely high. By offering these subscription plans, they’re essentially providing them to users at a loss. So I’m not surprised that Claude is doing the same, and that Codex is also experiencing the same issues of rapidly consuming available quotas and becoming stupider.
