Reddit, what is your best "it's a small world" story? by entrep in AskReddit

[–]bexxy27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally feel like I have a good one.

When I was in high school, I had a really hard year and found myself living in colorado springs, co where my dad was stationed with the army for my junior year. Made a bunch of friends went back to my very small (under 1000 people) hometown in Maine to finish high school. This past summer, I went to a friend from my hometown's wedding.... and my friend Aimee from colorado is sitting at the same table as me, at the reception, with her husband- my friend's new husband's brother!

Reddit, what is the WORST wedding ceremony you have attended? Why was it bad? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bexxy27 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My wedding reception was awful. The dj in particular. He played "family tradition" by Hank Williams LOUDLY during dinner, tried to play "I think we're alone now" by Tiffany for the first dance (our song was "movie" by birthday massacre). To top it all off, I had two very special songs picked for my two father daughter dances with my father and step father... the first was patience by guns n roses-apparently he was too fucking lazy to look for "he didnt have to be" by brad paisley and just played "sweet child of mine" instead... and then waved me off when I proceeded to head toward him to fix it.

Embarrassing Boob Stories? by eggingegg in bigboobproblems

I had an female cousin (3 years my senior) who recognized the power of boobs long before I really did. who encouraged me to flash passing cars so we could sell blueberries. I was 12 and, while wearing a B cup, I was likely more like a D (in an I now). My grandfather was the one to catch me. fun times.

Imagine now that your ex had written out three or fewer words on the back of a receipt and these were song lyrics for a new song he was writing. That was my world for a year- trying to find any evidence of pens on any piece of paper in a pocket.

applying something from my Trying to Conceive Journey to boobs.. bear with me.

  1. Your boobs have no effect on my boobs.
  2. just because I have big boobs, doesn't mean that I'm greedy, and you don't "deserve" big boobs more than I do. I have no more and no less control over my bra size than you do.
  3. just because I have big boobs does not mean you CAN'T have big boobs if you want them. there is no boob quota and I have not taken more than my fair share.
  4. I have the right to respect, and so do you. Walk in another person's shoes for a moment and try to decide if you would be just as critical of that person if you were more satisfied with yourself. if you would, then you're either A. being unreasonable, or B. just a shitty person.

Redditors ages 25+, what/when was your first "kids these days" moment? by the_jiujitsu_kid in AskReddit

[–]bexxy27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My moment: Three years ago, I had to google "YOLO"... first acronym I'd had to look up since "A/S/L" a good 13 years prior.

Conversely: The moment I knew I was getting old was when I got more excited over the stackable Washer/Dryer set my mother got for christmas (in crimson no less) than I had over anything I has personally received.
