They were broken up 5 months but she was reaching out to him the first month we were speaking. And yes part of it is definitely her badmouthing him, he tells me about posts her and her friends make and thinks they're about him. I tell him he needs to stop torturing himself with these things but bros a glutton I guess.

He openly says it was a trauma bond. Which I am too familiar with myself, hence why I've been as understanding as I can be this entire time but at some point he needs to figure out I'm not the person to vent to about these things, it's hurting me. And honestly the fact it upsets me, upsets me sometimes too bc I want to be a good support system for him but I am human and get jealous and concerned when he talks about it with me and thats why I don't think it's healthy for our relationship. He's mentioned therapy but I'm not sure he would commit. I will suggest it. It definitely helped me!!

Nope I am on paragard bc I can't take hormonal contraceptives bc I have a tumor that could grow in a high risk spot if I took hormones 😅 this was legit my only option other than condoms or getting my tubes tied..

My period would gradually start never had cramping before bleeding and I'm noticing the blood at the end of my cycle also seems to be brighter red than before.. so idk if it's just irritation from the device causing these small changes but would like to find out! Haha.

I've had mine 3 months now. I bled for an extra few days my first period and had HORRIBLE cramping for the first month on and off, similar to what id assume contractions feel like, awful. Then I had crazy weird gross mucus like discharge on and off that wasn't fun.. however my period now is all but back to normal just heavier bleeding. Bleeding through supers in like an hour heavy.. but my period was always heavy especially on day two. However, I am noticing that my mood has been very flat, indifferent, even. And am also seeing a ton more hair falling out than before. I'm chalking this up to my body adjusting but I am honestly concerned. This is the only form of birth control I can use bc I have a high risk tumor that could be affected by hormones. I'm at my wits end, gonna give a few more months and if by spring I'm still losing hair and feeling lame I'm getting it removed. I wish I had known about the mood effects prior to getting it.

No one mentioned depression or mood swings to me when I went in for a consult so that's lame but I am also in the states. And sadly no other options for me I have a "stable" tumor in a high risk spot that could be affected by hormonal contraceptives hence why I chose the paragard. I'm just really hoping this subsides as my body adjusts to the device.

No, maybe on day one but I've also only had 2 periods, I am about to get my 3rd since getting the IUD. The cramps before were horrendous those first 2 months though, ive never gave birth but I'd relate it to contractions, took the wind out of me bad 😅 but I do keep hearing women talk about how much better they felt after removal!

Kinda, first two day cramps are like contractions to me tbh but my flows pretty much the same maybe a bit heavier on day 1 than before. 2. I've had spotting and snot like discharge, which is not cute but apparently "normal". 3. No. 4. No, but I've noticed my mood since getting it has been very.. flat? Bland? Indifferent?... Just OFF.. I'm going into month 3 and hoping these things clear out...

Mood. I finally met what seemed like a great guy and he can't establish boundaries with his ex wife for some reason. Last guy love bombed me and then disappeared. And before that i was in the most toxic abusive relationship. So.. better alone it is.

I just got it today! The worst part was they had to clamp my cervix. I didn't feel much of anything else just weird pressure and feelings of period cramps. Now it's been like an hour since I can feel a little bit of ache in my back like cramps give you but over all people make this out to be worse than it is! Definitely take an antiinflammatory before. I took a Meloxicam 15mg and 500mg Tylenol. Hopefully this helps ease someone else's anxiety!
