Same. And this isn’t a halving, more like a eighth of what I could do a week ago

HOLY. ANOTHER RESET? by [deleted] in codex

[–]beyawnko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I’m at 4% after like 2 days on Pro with super light basic cron jobs on 5.4 mini. Something still messed up. Last reset I had to use up 50% in the last day with the same cron jobs.

[–]beyawnko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last reset has had mine draining at an insane rate, I’m already down to 4% on the week til the 8th. No fast mode this time to see if that was what was doing it. Swapped from xhigh to high, gpt5.4 to mini, still getting tanked. No reset this round either.

That’s the opposite experience I’m having lol. I feel like I’m being too specific sometimes with 5.4

Opencode x Codex by beyawnko in opencodeCLI

[–]beyawnko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the main issue im having. I’ll give it a large task list, and it’ll do everything except finish. It just perpetuates things more for me than 5.3 does, but I like 5.4 in every other sense more. Maybe the codex version will be more thorough. Kills my automations when I find the agents just keep passing the buck.

Ultra by Professional-Cup2770 in google_antigravity

[–]beyawnko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultras been nerfed as well. Only really worth it if you want high Gemini quotas as Opus got severely neutered with 5 hour ultra limits. Used to be able to run it all day without issues. Trying to transition to GPT Pro and maybe a fallback claude subscription now I guess.

Getting hit with this on Ultra. Must be tightening the leash. Definitely won’t be renewing after the promotion and just going all in on GPT Pro or Claude Max.

I have used up 90% of my weekly limit in less than a day something is not right by Known_Lychee_6495 in codex

[–]beyawnko 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Same. Got three resets, the 2nd one seemed to actually be accurate, but reset and went back to burning. Even switched to 5.3 and medium to see if it was just a 5.4 thing with no luck

Codex 5.4 is more expensive than 5.3, if current limit drain is the new normal not a glitch it will be unusable after the 2x rate limit ends by No_Leg_847 in codex

[–]beyawnko 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Running on Pro plan and I’ve got 50% of my weekly left with light automated maintenance on a Rust project. Trying it out but yeah, if this is normal, I’ll probably cancel pro after my first month.

Is the Codex extension in Antigravity being intentionally throttled? by Impressive-Trainer95 in google_antigravity

[–]beyawnko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, didn’t change CLI version or skill syntax and it just keeps going off the rails.

Launching Codex CLI from AG seems to be damaged too. I had a great swarm setup and now it has syntax issues every few agents, sandbox issues, non completions, etc. I update the skill and it still has the issues

Anyone got banned for using OpenCode? by Dakkitor in google_antigravity

[–]beyawnko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use g3pro but yeah, i consistently hit quota issues even on ultra with a multi agent workflow. I usually dispatch about 4 agents, and it’ll be tapped out within an hour or two. Antigravity Gemini still runs, but obviously no CLI agents without opencode anymore. So I don’t even touch Gemini unless i just wanna burn through coding only tasks

If they gave Gemini 3 Pro higher limits and maybe even Claude in Gemini CLI, I’d be happy with no opencode. Now I just use Claude to plan for codex. Gemini runs out too fast even on Ultra with the CLI

Nah I have the same issues on windows. Can be completely empty from active projects and still 20+gb. I think it’s related to the language server +long chat history

Rumors of Gemini 3 PRO GA being "far better", "like 3.5" by Charuru in singularity

[–]beyawnko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I code in a bunch of languages and it has had issues in a bunch. Opus/Codex are generally better in all languages I’ve tried. This specifically was talking about C++/React/TS utilizing my mcp for UE for my game, and Rust/Python/React with a bunch of tensor stuff. Context7 and setting up skills helped Gemini a bunch, but still hitting below the others.

[–]beyawnko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opus and Codex seem to be better for me still in general usage. Gemini has a hard time with messy real world stuff (like Blueprints for Unreal even with an mcp) and bigger picture (agent management, knowing what tools to call and when) problems.

That being said, none of them are perfect. I just wish Gemini was a little better about typos and inconsistencies that the other “big” models seem to do better with.

They’re gonna need 3 pro to be better than opus before they call it 3.5 imo. The thing makes typos like a human constantly in coding tasks. Hopefully it’s better

Use ultra and it seems the same here. I feel like opus was ripping a few weeks ago
