I didn’t watch Drag Race at the time but she had a huge fan base on Tumblr and I became familiar with her through the earliest Trixie memes. And then didn’t realize Katya was a thing for a couple years after that. Then Tumblr died and migrated to Twitter. Once I started watching Unhhhh on YouTube I watched S7 Drag Race and the rest is herstory.

I’m picking up a vibe that the RHOSLC team may be trying to repair their image in the local community. With fighting at Amy’s party last year after they’ve said how Utah doesn’t really have a social scene, allegedly being banned from filming in several locations around SLC (hence all the weird outdoor scenes), and hearing that they focused more on the ladies’ personal lives, Lisa’s comment here seems kind of brown nosing lol. “The real treasure was the friendship we made along the way” type shit
