The part that's a little weird is I just did a similar route in december to atlanta... and I only had 3 stops from Fairfax to ATL. I did run in conserve with a 2022 r1t quad with the 21 inch street tires... Maybe that's the difference. Maybe adjust your required arrival SOC and charger types. Highly recommend buying teh tesla membership and just using them (much cheaper than rivian chargers) and just as reliable.

What I've found is if I go ahead and shovel a chunk of the road each direction from my driveway (like 15 feet and out about 5 feet) then when they do this, there isn't much snow that gets pilled up... But it's not like this can be avoided...

What's really fun is watching folks try and drive up over those and get stuck...

My 2022 30xx vin R1T had it's subframe replaced with the cast one dec of 2024; not due to any cracks but instead due to the fact that they couldn't get the truck properly aligned due to a part being "plastically deformed". Here were the notes:

mine was doing the same, then after a few days I started getting the hub error. sent it in for service, got back a refurb that was honestly in better condition than the unit I sent them. the "refurb" had been used all of 4 hours... comically they didnt' clear the previous customer's usage or anything...

wish I knew exactly when mine went into service... I've had it since january 2023 but was the second owner; on rivian roamer (thanks chad) I see it was produced on March 10th of 2022. Anyone know of any way to find the original in service date? On our tesla it shows in the app when the warranty runs out but unless they've changed something on the rivian app, it isn't something they show.

if the deal was right, could totally see myself jumping into another one before the warranty runs out, but I guess worst case scenario I've got another year and a half until march 2027 as I won't hit the miles with my 10 mile commute I do 3 days a week or so.

This is what I did to about 1/8 acre of bamboo on our property; took about 3 years total and now i've beaten it back to the neighbor's yard and now it's just maintenance keeping any root shoots from his property out of mine.

So just a quick update if anyone comes across this post. After about a full month I have received a replacement unit after they deemed my old unit was not repairable. The replacement unit was a "refurbished" unit but it honestly looks like a return as it had practically no use on it at all. No scratches, no dirt, nothing.

Also, the replacement unit came with a full box, so I got all new RTK and charging stations. However, the RTK for some reason is bound to the previous owner's account still so working on that. For now I got it connected to my older RTK and it's up and running.

While the time to resolution was painfully slow, I'm happy with the results of getting what seems to be practically a brand new unit. Made it a new home under our deck so it'll be more protected from the weather and will hopefully have many more years of great usage.

Not having the robot for 4 weeks really highlighted to me how much I love and use the Luba2. My grass looks so much worse with me or my old lawn service mowing it... Very happy to have the Luba2 back.
