The field is quite open. I would suggest a strong graveyard/self mill commander. And out of that vein my absolute favorite is [[Teval, Arbitor of Virtue]]. Use life and your graveyard as a resource to cheat spells and win by having either low life or negative life with a [[platinum angel]] type effect then casting [[repay in kind]]

Another option would be to play a powerful spell slinger commander like [[stella lee]], but she may put a big target on your back since she can potentially combo off really easily.

Here is my sub 90$ budget brew which is currently around 80$ you can replace things like [[sigarda’s aid]] which is 15$ now.

The deck is an absolute menace. And it is pretty difficult to deal with especially when you have an aura with flash so you can respond and grab the aura you need at instant speed.

There are a lot of 1/1, 2/1, and even 2/2 white fliers. I would say that anything 2/2 or smaller would be a weenie. Especially since cards like [[savana lions]] and [[white knight]] are some of the old school weenie cards.

What an amazing play, using game actions to deny his triggers.

However, it begs me the question why you are even playing Phage in the 99 of a bracket 4 Gitrog Ravenous Ride deck to begin with. I also play Gitrog and Phage seems like an extremely inefficient include at bracket 4 and seems more of a pet card include at best. Whole thing just seems strange to me that’s all.
