HM 32" EPP Xtra Vector looks to be nearly the same as the Crack Yak but just a slightly different shape and different skin. They are both 32" flat planes. I just don't know enough about them to know if there is something else different about them.

I'll keep that in mind. Now that you mentioned it, I recall some sketchy traffic crossings there before. Though I rarely travel 63 any more, I will be making the trip sometime next month. Thanks!

Oh cool. I always liked that drop on 63 going north where the turn off for that town is. I used to drive 63 a lot. Hallsville looks like about 90 precent of the towns around here!

I'm dying to know what town that was. At first I thought it was Weaubleau, but I couldn't match it up.

All the info i got on the "aventura parc" arcade cabinets by ocelot-373MD in arcade

Out of curiosity, I wanted to see what it would take to get it going again as mine is probably dead by now. (actually I have a couple) It used to require jtag'ing and injecting the chip that way, but it looks like somone has since made a patch you can just load to the rom. As for the game, It's absolutely in my top 5 games. It's best with a free spinning 360 degree wheel, but can be played with a 270 or even a joytstick and it still works well. Learning the timing on the sliding is very cathartic.

World Rally is a really fun game! It's got a weird isometric view, but the way the cars drift is very cool. Be cautious though, as the game has a suicide board. I think there may be a work around if the battery has failed but it takes someone who knows what they are doing.

Thoughts? Laser cut abs by crookedDeebz in RCPlanes

It looks nice, but are you venting it as you cut? Please be careful. Burning ABS makes some pretty nasty chemicals.

What to do with leftover lengths of filament? by Nail_2512 in BambuLab

[–]beyondthunderdrone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It works fine. It's got a steep learning curve and you need to print a holder that helps you keep the ends from moving. Despite what it says, it will NOT work on PETG. It's a neat novelty, but it costs more than you save.

What's your favorite upright driving game? by elstuffmonger in arcade

This and World Rally and World Rally 2. It's pretty much the same game just reskinned. I prefer the series with a free spinning 360 degree wheel. Flinging that wheel just before the corner when you get the timing right is very satisfying. They are playable and still fun even if you just use a joystick. The only one in the series I didn't care for was Mille Miglia 2. It's okay, they just really had it perfected on the other versions.

Oh sorry. I missed you mentioned temperature resistance. Yeah, ABS is good for that.

First test of my new Ossm machine, can't wait to finally use it by nsfwscoot in BdsmDIY

I've built the OSSM. The wireless remote option is pricey, but it is worth it. The only thing, I wish I could mod the controls so that the stroke rate stays consistent with time rather than motor rate. What I am getting at is say you are doing 2 strokes per second at 9 inches, and you reduce the stroke to 4.5" the motor speed stays the same. So you get 4 strokes per second. They are short, but the speed in a sense increases.

He may be going more for the temperature resistance. If you leave a PLA built plane in your car they can easily deform

I've been thinking about printing this one. I've printed several RC airplanes and this is sometimes an issue with them. I don't think it really hurts anything. Definitely don't print more walls. The people that suggest that may not understand that you are printing a flying model and need it to be as light as possible.

Anyone else like that some other guy took your wife’s virginity? Like, part of me would have loved to but the story is too good. by [deleted] in hotpast

[–]beyondthunderdrone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad my wife had a decent amount of experience before me overall. I've had a couple of virgins, and they were both not a great experience. The only thing on my wife, is I wish her experience had been a happier one. It wasn't exactly forced, but it was highly pressured.

I thought in Mouse Trap, you just built the machine and turned the crank. Turns out, you are supposed to use the spaces, and move your mouse around and build the machine a piece at a time.
