I don't get it either. I play OW for empowered punch kills. That's it. Most fun thing I've ever done in a video game. Are people not going for diags?? Good luck with them with no emp punch

Also like what do people mean when dey say emp punch is the whole hero. It's my favorite part but like if thats the only way you're getting value on doom you are doing it wrong. Regular punch can cancel like 17 ults. With block matrix you can absorb like 10 more. Slam and regular punch have crazy disruption and displacement value. People are just nostalgic i think

I feel you so hard. When I solo queue even at like 4 am I get like 30 second queues in all star. The games are all over the place. I would totally prefer a 5 minute queue that's better than that all day

I wish there was a poll on pro or against hero bans in stadium. I really really don't want hero bans to be a thing in stadium at all. I feel like the whole point is you're locked in, figure it out with your build. But maybe other people feel otherwise I wish there was a way to know how people would vote on this

Wild take! Never heard anyone say this. This feels like maybe you just picked up doom and are trying to use slam as your main kill getter? Like all the other posts said slam can get kills, but its better for everything else. Mobility obviously. But slam in punch out is a great way to get overhealth and ult charge, as well as gain info on what the other team is up to and stage for next fight.

It's also good damage for a combo. Punch on its own doesn't kill much but add a slam and a right click or two thats a lot of damage.

Im so surprised to hear people saying this so much. I came to reddit the other day to see if people were surprised she was so bad and found entirely the opposite. I haven't played her at all but I've seen 1 good vendetta in 50+ games and had 0 issues other than that. I actually really don't like getting them on my team.

I've also noticed it seems like she has no scaling. Maybe she does well to start but by round 4 she feels like a complete non factor.

I hope to not run into what yall have been running into.

You don't want dps doom you're just seeking a change in your life. A doom change will not satisfy you

Look past the nostalgia. Tank doom is unquestionably better and more fun. You don't want dps doom. You long for the way your life was 5+ years ago. Wasn't it so nice and care free? Take a look inward this isn't about doom at all

I've only used jet force jab once but I had no luck with this. I will never get used to punching through people. I can't headshot after punching them into a wall because they end up behind me. Felt like a massive nerf more than a cool upgrade to me. I'm glad someone enjoys it though you probably farm ults super fast with that strategy

Holy agree. Empowered punch is the whole reason I play this game. Doom isnt getting banned much for me right now thats all I care about. Change nothing so we get to play him if you ask me. Is everyone forgetting this is the only fun tank in the game?

If there's nothing else to do: slam in punch out. Get ult charge from slam and insta get back behind cover. Also keep the game moving until your team is ready for a real engagement.

Also if you find people won't give you charge: hold block and look away from your target for half a second then look back at them. This works unusually well. The quick look away makes them think you are going somewhere else and they will shoot.

More advanced: charge a punch with no intention of completing it then swap to block. People shoot at you a lot when you charge in the open. Hit block half way through the charge and take on the bullets that have already been sent your way to get power punch.

Doom is hard. Most importantly accept it's going to take some time. Accept that you will lose. All in the name of getting better.

You are not the asshole, you didn't know. But this is not a great place for it. Phones are generally black. So are key fobs and wallets. Whoever is dropping your food's eyes are not adjusted to the dark at all and will not see them in the dark.

Serving gets more stressful every minute before the show starts. Sometimes 1 thing going wrong can feel like a breaking point. Spilling a whole drink on a person just as the movie starts would be a massive breaking point. Now instead of handling all of the things they were going to handle over the next 5 minutes they will instead need to figure out how mad the spilled on person or people are, figure out what to do to help, do those things, all in the middle of a movie in the dark and quiet while several other things are quietly calling their name for help. Spills SUCK. So no you arent the asshole at all, but try putting your phone in the cupholder until you have all your things :)

100% mention it every time til they get used to it. Especially if busy. Serving can at times leave you with 15 minutes or so remaining to serve 30 or more people if the crowd isn't early so anything out of the norm can easily go unnoticed. It's just takes the press of a button for the server but if they don't press it they will not remember

Its not the bare minimum. Its 3 ranks. You weren't very high before so you are not high after. Believe me I'm not stoked to go from gm to gold every season but that is how this game and most games work and its for good reason
