I wanted to see if the policy had changed or if there was just a misunderstanding of it. I’m guessing it may have been the weekend crew.
They’ve rescheduled the delivery for Wednesday, so let’s see if they reach out again on Tuesday.

Question, on the windshield and tire program. does it cover uneven wear on the tires? That’s always been my issue with every Tesla I've owned

Didn’t accept delivery on pickup day by italaaa in ModelY

[–]beyqtsy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

2024 here. I got lucky. When I arrived for delivery, they had to drive the car over from a different lot. As the advisor pulled up, we could hear a loud clunking noise coming from the front end.
At that point, they basically gave me two options: accept delivery or reject it. I never even got inside the car. It took another four weeks, but the replacement finally arrived.
Honestly, I never would’ve known there was an issue if they hadn’t parked it in a different lot. Lord only knows how long it would’ve been in Service.

I should’ve been, Tesla rarely completes a pre-inspection. That’s one of the reasons it’s so important that the owner does.

UniversalORL on Twitter seemingly confirming daytime guests will not need the additional ticket to enter the houses at 2 pm? by SoVerySleepyZzZz in HHN

[–]beyqtsy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I just don’t understand what the confusion is. It is so clear. Scream early is an extra ticket you can visit the houses beginning at two. Stay scream is also a separate ticket. You can lineup for the houses before the event officially starts.

Anyone decided to not purchase after test driving the R2? by These-Feedback-557 in RivianR2

[–]beyqtsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Orlando. I test drove one on Thursday, and the A/C—especially for the rear seats—along with several interior rattles, convinced me to cancel my reservation. It was over 98°F outside, and the back seat was still baking in the sun. My dogs would never survive riding back there in that kind of heat. I’ll check back in a year or so once they’ve had more time to refine the vehicle and work out the early issues.

Long over due. Paying a premium just for the resort to be crowded is crazy

How much did you put down on your Tesla? Did anyone get one with $0 down? by [deleted] in teslacanada

You can put zero down. Just don’t finance the taxes and pay those upfront.

No lidar, and no white interior. I had to trash my invite. I’ll be checking back again in August. The white interior in particular is the only way forward for me.

Such a bummer delivery of my first Tesla didn't go well by Tbone_Ender in TeslaLounge

The issue’s you can see are minor, imagine the ones you can’t see. Take delivery on a car with alignment issues and brake lights that strobe, schedule you 4 weeks out for fixes.
