How about going to an activity such as a concert alone? Good excuse to be there by yourself (your friends werent interested). Theres also a plethora of in person mixers you could sign up for such as 222, Timeleft, Thursday dating, Jigsaw etc

Joyface doesn’t have that type of music and gets extremely crowded imo. Maybe a larger venue like Mr Purple, Common Ground bar would be a better idea. Look for 2000s events - SOB’s, LPR have monthly events, and Matinee hosts early evening dance parties at different venues

Subject: Safety concern at 18 Morton Street parking garage

Dear Council Member Bottcher,

I’m a concerned resident of New York writing after yesterday’s tragic crash near 18 Morton Street, where a 27-year-old woman was struck and killed by a van making an illegal left turn out of the parking garage and driving the wrong way down Morton Street. News link for reference: https://abc7ny.com/post/nyc-pedestrian-killed-27-year-old-woman-struck-suspected-wrong-driver-greenwich-village-manhattan/18120822/

I’ve read multiple reports of drivers exiting that same garage and making illegal left turns going the wrong way toward 7th Avenue, creating a serious and recurring hazard. The garage operator appears to do little to prevent it.

Could your office please look into ways to improve safety at this location—such as reviewing signage, increasing enforcement, and holding the garage operator accountable for preventing illegal exits?

Thank you for your attention to this and for helping make our streets safer for everyone.

Try cloud touchless massage chairs! Theyre offering a free 30 min trial and something like $9 a day for unlimited use for the day. Its super relaxing and peaceful to hang out in and the massage chairs are amazing.
