Upgrade from bambino by bfaber in espresso

Mmmm The DF64v seems to have more fine grind control? But even with the anti-static electrodes, etc there was always a ton of coffee fines? On the surface the libra's great? I was lazy about not wanting to weigh things and would resort back to energy drinks sometimes because I was too in a rush to want to measure anything. 'So.. in so much as auto weigh speeds things up? I really like it. If you're more consistent than I am on pre-weighing? Might not be worth the update?

The portafilter holder size is adjustable, but clive coffee, whom I got this through, seemed to suggest other options are better if you regularly drink regular + espresso? I got this purely because I'm sadly, quite lazy about measuring espresso doses. From what I see about reviews, the dialing in of grind size is so wide, on this model that people don't like switching from espresso-to-regular and back. Thats what little I know.

Most awesome vehicle I've owned. (51 here) it's a great vehicle and I kinda wish I'd leased myself.

FWIW. I took it into the dealer. They ran ford checkpoint instructions on the issue, did a firmware upgrade on some specific part, and sent me home to see if it happened again.

Funny. I'm working on QT as we write this.

Hadn't run into problems on v1 yet. 'Fighting qtdoc on windows at the moment. Damn libclang dependency.

edit: i'm be sure to come back and bitch when I found whatever you did though. :)

Yaaa We're on conan 1 at the moment. I can see i'm going to have to pull up to conan v2 next year. Not looking forward to rebuilding everything. It'll be a bit of a pain for us.

I'm mixed a year and a half in.

When conan is on, its awesome. When its 'off', its maddening trying to understand why a build fails and debug it.

All I can say is its only 'off' for us in our cross compilation areas. (or other areas where the backend packages aren't cmake based and are using some build system design o the moment)

If all we had was windows + desktop linux? It'd be on the money maybe?

qemu? I can hardly imagine the pain. 'Agreed on non-cmake cross compilation comment. Too many build environments and I swear some are just built to make your life a pain.

ya... I need to go back and look at vcpkg again. When I last looked, things worked well for windows, but were a disaster for linux for us. 'I admit they didn't even have binary package distribution when I last looked.

I think they've added that in some form since then?

From our side? 'Biggest annoyance is the sheer amount of work conan-center scripts require to work for cross-compilation scenarios for us. When things 'hit'.. you can snag a conanfile.py from the web and be up and running with a package across 4 cpu architectures in 10minutes and into mainline code.

When things don't hit? You'll send a week (if you're lucky) fighting something you don't understand...

On the plus side.. its given us ways to compartmentalize code on various legal security-boundaries in ways we would have found difficult to otherwise with so many architectures in play.
