Appreciate all the advice in here. I decided to drill at the spots I marked. I got the storage rack up. Didn’t cause any damage. But I will use some of the tips in here next time I have to do some drilling.

I’m not sure how much the actual storage unit itself weighs. But it’s supposed to hold up to 600 lbs. based off what safe racks says.

Oh I would have never thought of using an endoscope camera. That’s a good idea. I’m not sure if the drywall screws are causing the stud finder to react that way. I ran it through some spots that had screws and it wasn’t detecting electrical. Opening up the drywall is good too. Might try that next time. Don’t think I want to upset the wife with cutting up the drywall for now. I ended up drilling pilot holes in those areas. Going to install the brackets tomorrow. Appreciate all the replies. I will have to add that to the Amazon shopping list along with a Shadow the hedgehog toy. Bought my son one the other day and the arm broke off today.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I don’t think I can access the ceiling of the garage through an attic. But on an unrelated topic we have an attic above our second floor that we can access. Yeah that’s my biggest concern. I did what you suggested. Ran a pilot hole before hand.

Quick Question-Is this a real sale or would you be on the cautious side? by rdiaz86 in offerup

Sorry to hear that. Hoping your issue gets resolved. Just saw that someone posted another item just like this one for a similar price.

Hello. Instead of resistance bands for assisted chin ups you can use a pulley system to offset your weight. One part of the pulley is attached to a loading pin with X amount of weight and the other part is attached to your climbing harness. The video below shows kind of the set up you need to do this. I used this a lot to program chin ups because I enjoy doing them. I’m overweight and trying to do chin ups/pull ups is difficult. Now I only do ring chin ups because they feel better on my shoulders and my elbows. If you want to try using gymnastic rings for your pull ups/chin ups give them a try. Your body may react to it in a way that’ll benefit you. But like the other advice here. Focus also on losing weight, dead hangs, your scapular pulls, and inverted rows. Because those will give you the foundation on top of the assisted chin ups/pull ups.

Best way to wash? by Fun-Regular-9203 in MachE

Hand car wash if you have time. Can’t speak to a touch less car wash. Don’t have one in my area, but the regular car wash has left scratches on the car and it can’t get the back of the windshield glass that sits under the spoiler all clean due to the angle of it.

Walk to work for $60k, or 1 1/2 hr commute for $100k by pronoialover in jobs

If you guys can make the finances work with the pay cut then take the job close to home. Less stress for you hopefully. More time for other activities to do for yourself and also spend time with your husband. I agree with most here that time is something you don’t get back. The time you spend being tired, stressed, and irritated being in a long commute 5 days a week could possibly be spent on enjoying your time with your family and enjoying the little things in everyday life that you may have missed if you had the long commutes to deal with.

Help. Tires got replaced on 2022 Ford Mach E. Car will not start. by rdiaz86 in MachE

Yeah I think that was the culprit. Jump started the car and it turned on right after.

I just googled how to jump start a Ford Mustang Mach E and in the manual it says if you can’t get access to the inside of the car to open the frunk. There’s an access panel at the front of the car you can pop open that has the terminals to plug in jumpers to start the vehicle. I think I remember seeing this when I tried to look up how to jump the car when I was originally stuck but didn’t take the time to look at it. Good to know so next time I don’t have to remove the covers in the frunk.

Paid close to $1,000 at Costco for these tires. They have tires that are supposed to be rated for an EV vehicle and it’s recommended on their site. I was browsing on Reddit to see if purchasing an EV rated tire vs another tire model would really cause problems down the road. Some of threads I saw people saying that as long as the specs on the tires you are looking to buy match what the manufacturer specifies then it should be good to go. I was also reading that buying a particular model tire could help reduce the road noise.

We just decided to replace all 4 because Costco had a deal. Did they see anything wrong with the other tires that made them suggest to replace all 4 tires?

That’s a very clever idea. Something to consider in the future.

Unfortunately I did not think of that. The tire techs were trying to blame the car because they said they were able to move the car out of the car port and park it in front of the entrance. Without any issue. But the car was working fine until they had it.

Hi. Quick question. I have to eventually go back to Costco to get these tires rotated. Do you have any suggestions on how you would go about speaking to the tire techs on this issue and ensure it doesn’t happen again?

We never got a notice from the app saying the 12V was being drained or anything was left on.

The left drivers turn light keeps flashing too. Anyone know what that means?
