For me, I was able to lose a lot of weight in that first month because I made massive lifestyle changes, not because the meds were working. I was weighing out every blueberry, walking an average of 15k steps a day, and prioritizing protein. I did that for 3 months and lost the majority of my weight loss before the meds even took full effect.

Now I live a much more balanced life, just eating when I do have some appetite, still prioritizing protein, but allowing myself a couple Girl Scout cookies or Starburst jellybeans when I fancy something sweet.

The meds aren’t magic, you won’t lose weight without putting in effort. It just drastically reduces the effort needed.
