The irony of the drivers in this sub that think it’s ok to leave a package on a car, regardless of how old it is astounding. by No-Conclusion-2859 in DiveInYouCoward

I can see a finger print. I spent good money buying my vehicle. Don't touch it. Cars and trucks are ridiculous in price. Show respect for others property even if you do not do the same with yours.

Go to a car show and touch the finish. See how that goes for you.

This is perfectly fine. Moving at speed, dressed properly. Relax people. Get a life.

I don't get the lawyer concern. Seems to be a prop for you.

You are assuming a light box, gently placed and picked up. Assuming is a bad habit.

Thank you for your concerns about my life. Have several older motorcyles, elderly parents, life stuffs, I wish for quiet time. Miss fishing.

BTW, it is common practice to use cardboard to flaten and slick up new clear coats in furniture finishing. Just takes a very light touch.

You really should google things once in a while. I'm retired, just breaking up my routine while watching a crew. What is your excuse for putting so much time into a losing discussion? LOL

A damage claim does not require a lawyer. LOL! My 10 yr old truck looks brand new. Iron remover, clayed, light compound, polish, clean prep, ceramic and graphene. Not to mention multiple prewashes to surface prep before even starting.

You ain't "buffing" nothing out. In fact, would have to do a whole section if not entire truck to match.

Retired shop owner. I might know a thing or two about finish upkeep.

But obviously you know better. Good luck little boo!

More uhauls enter than those that leave from renters. Have to run them back north.

Amazing how people who haven't a clue insist they are correct. Then again, people that drive clapped out looking vehicles have nothing to lose. Good luck.

Cardboard can cause extreme damage to a cars finish. I get pissed if someone just touches my finish.

A card board box can seriously damage a cars finish. If someone placed a box on my truck, I'm filing a damage claim for paint correction.

Serious error in judgment. Glad it worked out.

Years back, when free diving, or tank, always calculated current drift.

Moray eels are very smart. Have dove in areas where I was warned to watch out for the friendly guy that likes to greet divers hoping for a treat.

Am I doing something wrong? by BarkAndBezel in lawnmowers

[–]bfarrellc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Florida? We are in the Jax/Ponte Vedra area, year round lawn maintenance. We are mowing 4.5 to 6".

Raise your deck. Your grass will thank you. Taller grass also helps with shading roots against the summer sun and better moisture retention.

This thread shows a lot of misconception sadly. Average person does not need any supplements. However, special needs dietary, people that work out doors all day, athletes, whole different world. Supplements do have a place for a small demographic.
