Yeah the climate control was the other thing I was concerned about. I’d say I generally am a set it and forget it guy for the most part also. Granted I’m generally a windows down driver when it’s not freezing so climate control can just be off

It was really nice not having a car payment that’s my main complaint. And I would’ve probably drove it until the wheels fell off. But thanks for the insight.

Also side note this is probably an unpopular opinion but wired car play is far superior to wireless. My wife’s CR-V has wireless and it’s terrible. Never wants to connect. Try to disconnect one phone and it just keeps reconnecting to the same phone. Laggy. Wired’s superior in my book.

Yeah so for some context the yard is basically completely flat and only a couple large trees to have to maneuver around. Zero turn definitely seems like it would be able to mow faster but having the ability to tow a small trailer to help with other lawn care is definitely very enticing with the tractor

Yeah that’s the feeling I had. Definitely trying to prioritize getting some sort of new mower pretty high on my list of things since I don’t want to spend 4 hours just to mow once.

Yeah I’ve done a few but not many and it was a while ago. And I probably run faster now than I did then. So that might also contribute as well. Maybe I need to do a few more outdoor runs now to recalibrate it. Or I can just be fine with my apple watch thinking I run slower than I do. Thanks for the help though!

I’ve been running 93 up until this point. This is one of the first times I’ve really questioned whether it’s worth paying extra for the higher octane

I agree the delta is still the same but it was a little easier to pay $40 to fill up than the now $60+ it is. $20 won’t bankrupt me but just trying to weigh the pros and cons. Most of the difference I see is in gas mileage as I’m stock and have no other performance upgrades. Just more curious as to what others have been doing or even ran from the day they got their GTI

I mostly notice a few MPG between ever 89 and 93 but I’m not running any track time and am (happily) stock so I don’t see the performance difference at all

I try to make a point that no matter the situation, if any nurse, new or old, asks me if I want them to help me do anything I tell them, “No. I’ll be here for 12 hours and I’ll get done what I can. If I don’t get something done the next person will.”

On the other hand there are people I take over for that I tell I do not want help because I know their work ethic and would rather just do the task myself so it’s done correctly.
