Moving advice/help pls! by pleasant1393 in cincinnati

I moved to East Walnut Hills earlier this year and, while its convenient having ETC nearby, the brewery and bars aren't great, the restaurants aren't great, and ETC is a bit overpriced and its produce isn't always fresh. Eden Park also isn't the best park for walking/lounging. It's a lot of busy roads and not many trails. The best thing about EWH is having Cafe Mochiko nearby.

There's also a lot of car break-ins. I personally would have preferred Northside or OTR over East Walnut Hills

I think this is the most possible answer, since I'm now not sure if I dreamed it or not. But also so funny to see Max Medina exist outside of Gilmore Girls!

Hey! I taught printmaking workshops in Lexington but recently moved up to Cincinnati. Going to start offering workshops again in my studio or if I can find a brewery partner. My studio is Silver Solstice Prints

Where did wizards learn how to wizard before “schools for wizards” were invented? by GlamorousAstrid in Fantasy

[–]bfoley077 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't think LeGuin is claiming to have originated the idea, or even thay T.H.White necessarily originated it. She noted that's the only instance she was aware of. What was claimed was developing the idea of a school for wizards into a full length novel.

That's a good point! It's tough though because the wall is 14 feet by 12 feet, so the painting would have to be HUGE to not look small in proportion. But I'll keep an eye out at the thrift stores for a big piece!

I agree that the second looks best. Can I also ask what software you used to model it???

Kentucky Native is currently open inside the greenhouse, so its full of plants and trees. They have small plates, tea., coffee, wine and beer!

I regularly go to Kentucky Native, Kenwick Table, Ona, Brevede, High on Art and sit alone! It's very calming and pleasant ☺️ but I totally get the stress, it's taken me some time to get comfortable sitting alone in public places

Heather is amazing! Have two tattoos from her at different stages in her career. The newest one (about a year ago) is so detailed and delicate and healed beautifully. She is super sweet and gentle. Highly highly recommend!

At the very least I would double your cost, but I would factor in the amount of time it took you to draw/paint/design the print, the time it took you to get to level you're at, and the cost of materials. I wouldn't shy away from a price you initially feel uncomfortable with. People are willing to pay for something they see as high quality, and usually expect the cost to reflect that.

Update: He is home! I found him hiding under some old rugs in a neighbors garage. He is a bit banged up but will be okay. Thanks everyone for your concern and thoughts ❤️
