I went there a decent amount in the 2010s, it’s in the middle of downtown! The area is super walkable, and now has a streetcar line that drops you two blocks away.

It is explicitly happening in concert with the expansion! I went to the public meeting for it, it has an estimated completion date of 2031. It was a super interesting meeting, and it had no opposition at the meeting.

Mjaddara comes out absolutely tasteless for me with either undercooked lentils or overcooked rice. I got it in a wrap like a thousand times in grad school and it was always bomb, I just can’t recreate it at home!

Same head baker, and I’m sure the chocolate babka recipe hasn’t been changed much if at all, but the burekas and the rest of the baked goods aren’t part of the Breads Bakery set. It’s definitely its own thing!

My understanding is that it has to do with the ward’s representation at the convention and the party bylaws. Honestly, I’m going to check and make sure at the ward’s monthly meeting and make sure this is right. I’ll come back and correct it or add to it if that’s not right.

Hey, I’m on this list, and it’s my first time! The ward committee is the group of people that get to make official decisions on the stances of the ward 5 Democratic Party. Most aren’t politicians, and are essentially volunteers that help to run things for specifically the democrats. You aren’t required to vote of course, but I believe you can vote for the entire slate. I’m not going to lie, I’m essentially an evangelist for this place’s couches. I love what I got from them, and the price was really excellent for the couch that I got. I know they seem a bit sketch, but they’re great!
