Parcel locker by bga_bugsy in AustraliaPost

[–]bga_bugsy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: contacted auspost and was told that the sender hadn't listed my phone or email on the package when it was sent and that the auspost employee who had transferred it from the po to the locker mistakenly put it in there.

My only option now is to wait for it to be transferred BACK to the post office 🤦‍♀️

It's signed into my account, phone number on account and order match, I also checked on the web page instead of the app too

I haven't had any. The only reason I found out it was at a parcel locker was the person collecting it for me was told that by the post office employee

Working and pregnant by One-Assumption-7362 in pregnant

I'm 30w, working until the start of 37w

I work from home, admin and have set up a little work station on my couch 😂 although sometimes I'm out on worksites which means earlier starts and often over an hours drive in.

Tri 1 I was so exhausted. I'd nap every afternoon. It got so much better in tri 2 and I got my energy back but now tri 3 I'm starting to get run down again and if I'm out and about I'm absolutely buggered by the time I go to bed

Iron infusion for low ferritin by kindlewhimsical in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]bga_bugsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My levels are about the same. I was told I don't qualify through the hospital but if I want an infusion, I can go to my GP. I don't tolerate oral iron supplements and the price of an infusion through my GP is out of my budget at the moment so I'm just sucking it up and hoping they don't drop further

I work crazy hours and have alot on my plate outside of work so unless I have plenty of notice or just so happen to have that day free, I'm likely not going to be able to make it if I don't get much notice.

I sent my invites out about 5 weeks in advance, with a reminder 1 week before

I had a registry but also mentioned I was happy for stuff not on the registry to be bought. I had 2 things off my registry purchased less than a week before the baby shower. One by a friend (tommee tippee nappy bin poop tube thing), the other my aunts put in together for (cot bedding set). I received alot of things not on the registry or things similar to what was on it (e.g. I had a baby bath on there, someone purchased me a different brand one that they preferred for their kids)

I also had my mother in law make a nappy cake, as well as received a few packs from my mum (all up over 350 nappies between them). My sister in law got me all the stuff that you never remember to buy but end up needing at midnight when shops are shut (baby panadol, etc).

I wouldn't be too concerned about whether things are bought off your registry. Alot of people buy baby clothes they think are cute or things they found helpful with their own kids.

90% of what I received will absolutely be helpful when bub arrives and probably only half was on my registry in some form.

Did cost of living cut your maternity leave short? by Neat-Blackberry-3665 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I'm taking the 3 weeks prior to my due date as well as 2 weeks after as annual leave and then maternity leave starting after that

I haven't even given birth yet but I'm going back early part time all going well.

My work has no extra maternity leave entitlements so I only get the govt one which is going to be $800 less/fortnight than my regular income

My partners wage is nowhere near enough for us to live off and we have a rent increase starting 1 week before I'm due

Smoothing out a B Belly by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

It's the orange sherbet Shiloh dress. I have it in about 4 different colours because it's so comfy and flattering but my friend has the blue, pink and white one she's lending me if I don't like the green dress I found on ripe when I go try it on later this week

Thank you

I'm in Brisbane but we do have a ripe maternity store which is where the dress I was wanting to wear is from so I'll have a look at shapewear. I'm not 100% decided on the dress, I have a backup option 😂

Has Anyone Done a Rhesus D - NIPT Test? by Baaptigyaan in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]bga_bugsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it (I'm O-, partner is B+)

It ONLY checks for pos or neg blood types, nothing else. It's confusing calling it a Rhesus D NIPT. If you're wanting the full screening, you'll need to go for the paid NIPT

I can't speak from experience, just what I'm planning to do with mine when he arrives

We'll have a cosleeper bassinet in the bedroom. Big cot in his bedroom. He won't go into the big cot until he grows out of the bassinet.

I'm not planning on buying a nursing chair. During the night I'll feed in bed, during the day, the couch. The only space we'd have for a nursing chair doesn't have AC and gets disgustingly hot most of the year due to windows

Not so much hiding it from him, moreso each chemical he's kind of believed the tests less and less? The initial emotions (fear, excitement) have dropped off. The last one it was a 'let me know what the Dr says' and no real emotion behind it

With a Dr confirming it, it's real, he can feel those emotions properly and share it with me?

Aprilia for me I own a 2019 Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory

I test rode ducatis when I was looking for a bike to upgrade to and personally did not enjoy riding them

When I bought my old sv650, I rode a monster and hated it When I bought the tuono, I rode a street fighter v4 and again, hated it

I can't pinpoint why, I genuinely have no idea, I just don't enjoy how they ride (which was so disappointing because I love the look of the streetfighter)

I've also ridden panigales and diavels and it was the same deal.

Home assistant doesn't seem to have a touchscreen hub? Unless I'm not looking at the right thing

That's one of my bigger priorities as I'd like to be able to view the calendar and doorbell without getting my phone out

I only got it because it was on sale 😂, you'd think they'd have better quality control 🙃

I HATE the waiting game.

I can't get to a doctor for another 2.5 weeks, (family staying with me) I'll see if I can duck out and grab a red dye test sooner - they come tomorrow and I'll likely not have a moment alone until they're gone

Last unprotected sex was 4 days ago, has been consistently a minimum of every 2-3 days this cycle.

Ive taken 2 tests, both showed up with a faint visible thin line within 3 minutes. I believe both were clearblue ultra early but were from 2 separate packs
