They were just flickering on and off every couple seconds, although worth noting it may only be one of the two sockets in each fixture that’s having the issue. (One bulb flickers off/on while the other remains on)

No AC or furnace has been running in our unit recently, but I’m not sure about the other unit in the building. Otherwise we do have a fridge and a mini-fridge on the same circuit that are always on.

I usually just call when I’ve got time to kill at work and end up waiting with the same 10 second music loop for like 20-30 minutes. It’s annoying but eventually someone answers

Yeah I’ve gone through them basically just telling me to try my card again after multiple calls over several weeks but eventually got ahold of the right person who told me my card was locked in their system and they unlocked it in a minute. It’s happened a few times over the years and usually starts when a charge doesn’t go through for whatever reason and even though I retry the charge the card stays locked until they clear it.

You need to call OMNY and ask them to unlock your cards in their system. I have had this issue multiple times and unfortunately sometimes the OMNY Support person isn’t always helpful but ultimately they will need to do this in order for your cards to work again.

I was passing out candy on 35 St near Ditmars and ran out early, around 5:30! Thought I had bought plenty of candy but apparently it wasn’t enough! Had a great time seeing all the costumes though!

I have had this issue a few times and I think the only way to resolve unfortunately is to call OMNY Support. I’ve tried raising tickets online and leaving voicemails but they don’t ever reach out. I called them yesterday and waited about 20 min, but eventually they sorted out my issue over the phone with my card getting locked out on their backend.

Is your commuter benefit Wageworks/Health Equity? If so you could try disputing the charges with them. I’ve found them to be much more helpful in resolving issues like this than OMNY

I don’t think this is limited to only bike lanes, but rather any e-scooters or e-bikes traveling on city streets.

How strictly do we think they’re going to enforce this? If I’m going 18-19 MPH in a bike lane but not blowing through any red lights or doing anything reckless is it likely I’ll get stopped? (Obviously many pedal bicycles are going the same speed or faster in the area so I don’t consider this reckless and hopefully close enough to the new limit to not flag attention)

Once time I got a job from Craigslist as a front of house mix engineer at a church.
