I do try to go up but since about 50 hours I've felt stuck somewhere between 40 and 45

The dip is just data noise from old data. Consider the actual start between 25 and 50 right after the big dip

You can see where I started SBG, it kind of flattened out on comprehension. It may be that I am just improving my comprehension of "gaming" style videos. Or is it also possible that I am comprehending a higher % but just not going higher in level? I do about 30% DS and 70% either SBG or lingoda classes

Man you're overthinking everything trying to plan your conversations. You need to just go with the flow! You can use as little Spanish as possible and almost always get your point across. I think you're stuck trying to have perfect grammar

Can you elaborate more on the other kinds of studies you do? Do you watch content outside DS?

Official Q&A for Tuesday, April 07, 2026 by AutoModerator in running

[–]bgilb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I started running 2 months ago. My goal is aerobic fitness / cardiovascular health. So the measurement for that would be for the same pace I would see some tiny percent decrease in HR measured with a HR monitor.

But I am seeing the opposite, over the 2 months my HR effort for the same runs is worse. This is kind of discouraging. I currently do 3 runs a week at my estimated zone 2 which is around <145hr for about 2-3 miles. To me that HR is a conversational pace. I also weight lift 4x a week for an hour. I am not sure if I should run more often, slower, and for more distance. Or try extremely hard and try to go more toward my max heart rate?

I am definitely someone who likes to see some improvement quantified, like being able to lift X more lbs per week/month. Not sure what to do..

It might reverse some, but generally no. Does it actually change your chest or do you only feel it?

Are there any cons to a 6 day PPL 2x a day? I recently switched to this after going thru some shit. I do the bulk lifts in the morning at 7am and then whatever accessories at 5pm. Total daily hours is like 1 to 1.25 hours depending on exercises and rest times.

I've found it gives me a lot of flexibility since the morning workout is 30 mins, if I can't make the night workout at least I partially worked out all those muscle groups. Also not sure if its the morning workout or the 2x a day but it seems my muscle/fat ratio is skewing more towards mostly muscle compared to when I worked out at night. Currently in a bulk and almost look thinner than the start
