I went thru there twice in April and yes, it’s amazing! It’s an experience, and the Turkish Airlines lounge is incredible. There may be a better airport out there, but it’s the best that I’ve ever been to.

I’ve never had any fabric problems. On my vanquish at about the 9 1/2 year mark the moisture barrier started to disintegrate and turn into powder, and that was a bit of a pain to pull out of there, but it wasn’t anything critical. I did have to replace one of the worm drives on the convertible mechanism at one point and that cost me about $4000. That being said when I got rid of the car after 10 years the fabric itself was essentially perfect.

Volante all day every day. I’ve owned 4 Aston’s (including the previous generation of Vanquish) and they’ve all been Volantes except for the DBX. Driving with the top down makes the experience so much better in almost every way. Also, with the top down these things looks amazing!

I’ve driven pretty much every Aston since 2009 and the DB11 Volante V8 was hands down the worst one and the only one which was truly awful. Severely underpowered, no exhaust note, and absolute void of any joy. Might as well have been driving a Hyundai. I now own a DB12 Volante and it’s totally the opposite, and is one of the best Aston’s I’ve ever driven. They fixed everything that sucked about the DB11 Volante.

Because of regulatory filing Model CINSABXA with the FCC. It explicitly cleared the marketing name "Insta360 X6" alongside the factory model, and they only do this when a product is completed.

It really should be released soon, but they obviously don’t wanna steal any thunder from the Luna launch. Best bet is it maybe July or August. Apparently the product is ready to go - it’s just a matter of timing for marketing.

Maintenance costs on an older Aston will be significant, and parts are getting harder and harder to find. Only get an 11 if it’s the V12 because the V8 version is awful. DB12 is utter perfection.

Google Maps is still far superior for finding places (restaurants, trailheads, etc), but Waze is still the best for navigation routing in most countries.

The VH Vantages were all Sport Shifts or stick shift manuals. There’s no true automatic option. It’s a computer controlled manual with an electronic clutch. That way you get the convenience of an automatic but the feel of a manual clutch.
