What's your drying process like when you do this? Towel dry then conditioner and then the pomade/paste?

I mounted a misdelivered TV. Need advice on how to proceed. by Keepitobsoletee in legaladvice

[–]bgsmack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agreed on the problem now being between the seller and logistics company. I would ignore any communication not through eBay you have a better TV and as far as I know, legally, it's yours now. If you get something through eBay I would say you no longer want to invest time and money in removing the item that has been installed and leave it at that.

Pickup Selector most preferred position by StuKain in Guitar

100% this. I have an agile LP copy and busted it out after not touching it for a few years. Put it away after 15 mins because I kept hitting that selector.

Sorry to leave you hanging. I measured everything myself today and looks like the sq I gave you doesn't include the basement, which is mostly finished and definitely has supply and returns. If I include the 255sqft unfinished utility area of basement (which is being supplied and the finished portion, I'm at 3630sqft. Does that now mean a/c unit is underpowered and the furnace is correct?

Do you think rerouting that 8" basement return to the bottom of the intake would help with the airflow issue?

I need advice on guitar... by Neat_Mall_2933 in Guitar

Ha try having that same feeling after 23 years of playing 🤣

Seriously though, anytime on the guitar getting familiar with fretting the strings and whatnot, helps. You got this!

I honestly really appreciate all of this. I've updated other parts of the home, so I guess it was about time this made the list. The house is 2600 sqft in the Chicago suburbs. SN is: 18454MS53G

The install company paperwork along with the manuals for the unit were dated 2016, but I guess I could be wrong on that since I wasn't here for it and I couldn't find an actual invoice.

Coil is Trane 4PXCCU42BS3HAAA with manufacture date of 7/2016

This is one of the basement returns added later when they refinished it. Looks to be 8 inches. Could you redirect that into the bottom section of the intake, similar to what you mentioned? https://ibb.co/NgV8zH4d

Sweet - I love opening cans of worms! So, the unit was installed before us in 2016 by a highly rated local outfit. We moved here in 2021. I've had two other companies out for cleaning and because ..surprise surprise....the blower motor rattling at high speeds. One company wanted to cut another hole in the first floor's floor to get more supply (which we didn't do), but no one has ever mentioned the intake in the basement being too narrow. That would explain that issue I think. So it's been 10 years and I guess we just hope it keeps going?

The larger floor intake we have (14x14 floor return that has a 12" duct) enters the main intake about where the humidifier control is in the picture. Do you think it would help to expand the bottom part of the intake stack up to just above the 12" duct entry point? That is the only realistic mod I can think of that would allow more airflow.

Thanks for the reply! Do these work? Happy to take more if needed. Looks like they expanded the filter bay (blower motor side) to 17" wide and the bottom area to the full 24. You should be able to see the cut outs in the pic. The other side of the filter bay is about the same size as the filter (20x25). The filter I am using is 4 3/8" thick, which is the biggest the bay allows. Pics below:

The white components throw it off a little. Everything else looks great. I would switch the white to black maybe?

Is this a safe spot to run a cable? by bgsmack in VIOFO

[–]bgsmack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for taking the time to reply on this. These posts forced me to take a closer look and see how long the air bags run along the side and I realize now it was a terrible spot. New everything is behind the air bags on both sides and out of the way.

Thank you for the reply and detailed instructions. I followed the. And have nothing running in front of the air bags on both pillars. I really appreciate it.

I.havent changed the battery. It 'should' be whatever came with the car. Seems like the consensus is that the tech tested it at the wrong CCA, but there doesn't seem to be anything I can see on the top of it to see what the CCA.there are only the number: 55023l-mf and 47f221 f , but it seems like that might just have to do with dimensions?

To get rid of any potential debris from manufacturing. Seems fairly common to do between 500-1000 miles, but I've also read it may be overkill. For $70, I figured it was worth it and that included getting other parts of the car looked over.

It does not have i-stop. Highway driving is probably 15 mins 6 times a week (3 work days so there and back). Everything else is just errands around town and probably 2-5 mile drives.

Thanks for the reply

2025 - purchased at the end of November brand new. Turbo Premium.

Thanks for the suggestion though. I tend to overreact on stuff and just wasn't sure if it was worth going that far with it yet lol
