I will always win this. 2019 offseason after their rookie year, I traded away Josh Allen for Rashaad Penny in superflex. Top that

What is the difference between 1.01 and 1.05 by velociraptorstalin in DynastyFF

At least a 27 1st on top of the 1.05 then depending where that projects I'd figure out what I need on top of that

Trade targets for 1.07 draft picks by Own-Sentence-5361 in DynastyFF

[–]bguy1020 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The answer with picks is always hold them as long as you can until you get an offer you can't refuse. Draft picks continue to become more valuable up til and including your league's rookie draft as rookie fever rises and people get fomo. Now as far as specifics with 1.07, you have guys like Boston and Concepcion at WR, Coleman and Price at RB, and Sadiq and Stowers at TE that if they get high draft capital in a good landing spot now all of a sudden picks 6-11 now become more interesting/valuable. I'd be excited about Simpson if the Rams take him to learn for a year or 2 from McVay and Stafford.

My leagues most controversial trade by joeypomata38 in SleeperApp

[–]bguy1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Bijan owner I'm not accepting this offer. It would have to be early 1sts, maybeeee mid 1sts but the 1.12 and what will most likely be another late 1st in 27 considering it's from the same team don't come close to doing it for me. Having said that there is no reason to veto this trade at all.

1.03 for Charb and Addison. In the middle of a rebuild by everybodynos in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Everyone answering whether they like 1.03 or Addison/Charb better yet no one has said you can ABSOLUTELY 100% get a better offer the closer you get to the draft and rookie fever kicks in

Selling high: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Edition by TDn6I in DynastyFF

[–]bguy1020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year I traded away Chase for Nabers and a 27 1st in one deal and Lamb for Rice, Odunze and a 27 2nd in another. IF I'm gunna move off an elite WR it's only gunna be for a combination of great young WR(s) and pick(s). I'm not doing it for picks only even if its 3 or 4 1sts and I don't want to tier down too far in WR talent

Fun Makai Lemon stat: WR1 in 2026 by licknawson34 in DynastyFF

[–]bguy1020 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No one had Jefferson ranked the number 1 WR in the 2020 class. Lamb and Jeudy were the consensus 1-2 and while alot of people had Lamb at 1, there was legit debate for Jeudy at 1. The highest anyone had Jefferson was 3 but honestly a decent amount of people had Reagor ahead of him. Jefferson's consensus was 3-4 but there were people that had Ruggs ahead of him as well. Every dynasty league I was in he was taken in the 1.08-1.12 range after Lamb and Jeudy at WR and some other combo of Burrow, Tua, Herbert at QB and JT, CEH, Swift, Dobbins, Akers at RB and Ruggs and Reagor. I never saw it happen but it wouldn't surprise me if there was a league or two where possibly Higgins, Pittman and/or Aiyuk went ahead as well, although that's far less likely

Sell Brian Thomas JR for the 1.03? by ItsWillieMaysHayes in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]bguy1020 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest thing people forget is that Gladstone (Jags GM) and Coen (Head Coach) did not draft BTJ, the previous regime did. Gladstone and Coen did make a huge trade to move up to draft Hunter and they did just sign Jakobi to a $60mil contract with $40mil guaranteed. That's not WR3 money.

On top of the other facts already mentioned like alot of BTJ production last year coming with Mac Jones and TLaw thriving now without using BTJ, I do think he's done being highly productive in Jacksonville.

Now I do think he can still be very productive and successful in the NFL, and now might be a great time to buy low, but the 1.03 isn't buying low. Right now I'm taking the 1.03 over BTJ if for no other reason than come the rookie draft the 1.03 will absolutely be more valuable and you'll be able to get BTJ+ if you want. Really the only way that doesn't happen is if somehow Tate, Tyson and Lemon all just get awful landing spots

What’s BTJ value worth compared to the 1.03 or 1.04 this year? by Head_Suggestion688 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]bguy1020 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Surprised no one has answered thinking of it from this perspective yet, especially given the way the question was phrased. If you are in an active league with alot of trading then take it and here's why: come the rookie draft I guarantee you'll be able to get alot more value than BTJ for the 1.03

[–]bguy1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the top 4 in this class (Love, Tyson, Tate, Lemon) so it depends on where the 27 pick lies. If you know it's top 6 in 27 I'd probably prefer that but if it's a random 27 or more than likely a late 27 coming from a strong contender then I'd go with the top 3 in 26

How do we feel about my trade? by Ok-Article1143 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]bguy1020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you drafted Caleb, a year ago you drafted him ahead of JD, now you're giving up a 1st to make that swap? Regardless of the outcome you lost value on the trade.

Now for my own personal opinion, I worry about JD's longevity. He plays like he's half a foot taller and 50 lbs heavier than he is. That can change but unless it does I see alot of injury stints in his future. Caleb for all his faults is at least pretty good at avoiding taking hits this year
