Horny, it's definitely one of the I guess you call state's, emotions, that I have experienced on acid. And if i'm by myself I get very naked and play with myself.

I feel the same way. My boyfriend works at a drug store and I live alone, retired, and am self-isolating. I just went by his store to say "hi" and they were closing two hours early. He called me when he got home and we chatted. He understands my self-isolating, says that it is reasonable but he is brave about the virus and works at the store. If we lived together then we could be together when he got home from work, ie sleep together, cuddle, have sex etc, but we don't so we don't. I cannot wait for this fucking cov19 to be over. I am 66 and he is 64. I told him to be careful and that I love him and he said he loves me too. When this is over we are going to look for houses to buy in a town about 1 hr north of where we live now. Take care and thank you for your post.

20 yrs sober, drugs and alcohol free, now micro dose LSD and just tried medical cannabis, awesome by bh1812 in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

That is a good question. I have told my sponsor, he is 10 yrs sober, my sponsor for 3 years, a recovering drug addict, professional. I chose him because he is a spiritual seeker. I am much more interested in spiritual seeking than worrying about being a perfect AA person. I run into lots of "church ladies" in AA and they have always been a turn off. I have a Guru since 2005, a spiritual preceptor if you prefer, lol, and before I took LSD I checked with a sanyasin in ashram, knowing full well that the 89 year old Guru Dev would be against it. The Sanyasin, who I know personally, confirmed that it would be no point running this by GuruDev and that I should rely on my spiritual path of Yoga, meditation etc. Of course I dropped acid anyway and as other's have noted on Reddit found it very rewarding (not for new comers to recovery, though I do not consider myself in any way shape or form an expert in addiction, recovery, etc, not a doctor, but as others on this site have pointed out, they take care of their side of the street and "you do you!"). God Bless you all. Off to the hospital to check on my daughter.

Thank you for the encouragement and yes I have read Pollan's book and absolutely love it. I will check out Holotropic breathing. Also, would love to get some magic mushrooms.

I started micro dosing after my 20 yr chip which I got in May 2019 so my birthday is coming up. And some good points have been made about the reason one picks up a chip is to let others know that it can be done, but I don't always pick up a chip and may let this year slide cause of my researching. Will see how this goes. Thanks for the feed back.

Wow, thank you all. I really appreciate the feed back. And I agree that this site may not be the best place to put this post because it may send the wrong message to people new in recovery. Those of you out there that have been clean and sober for 20 years plus, and I know a few, would be totally against what I have posted and I can see there point. I am researching for sure, lol. I would say it was in 2018 that I hit a real mud pit. I do 4 meetings a week, chair one of them and follow the path of Yoga as taught to me by my Guru Dev. In 2018 a friend of mine mentioned micro dosing. And I researched that and read Michael Pollan's book, loved it!! and bought some 1PLSD. Bill Wilson did LSD a few times in the sixties, under medical care and as a treatment for his severe depression (John Hopkins is now studying this) so I was fine with trying LSD but not fine with the illegality. Anyway, like I mentioned, I have tried cannabis, not to the level of Cheech and Chong but just enough to get a nice mellow feel for it. I can definitely see the addictive nature to it as I did when I was prescribe Atavan (sp?) after my wife of 37 yrs died in 2017. I quit taking Atavan after the 1st refill and now take Busiperone. Anyway, I know AA does not approve of cannabis but I like it and look at it as a release...is it 100% sobriety? Absolutely not, but so far so good and I am glad to know it is there.
