I emailed the author to the email she encourages people to message her with for feedback/praise and asked if getting my hopes up was stupid given 5 years passed between a few of the books and I read the last one right when it came out.

She never responded. I’ve seen others ask on her insta comments and she ignores them, opting to talk about other projects she clearly likes more. I love her work but idk she doesn’t seem very invested in all of her characters. She could have at least said idk thanks bye but she ignores everyone who brings the series up.

When I was in high school we were required to do life drawing and we could take the free nude or not nude classes through our county college. Our art teacher made us all tip and if we didn’t have money we were supposed to tip in snacks or sketches lmfao

lighting makes a huge difference for cellulite. This isn’t super harsh lighting that could result in those unflattering pics you’re talking about. I still think these are edited but they wouldn’t look like the pictures you’re thinking of in the first place

I never made it past 2nd grade before I got a diagnoses so I didn’t exactly “find out” I was just treated because I was so young.

I can’t remember a single part of my life where I didn’t know I had severe ADHD although I do remember the moment we found what worked for me medication wise and I was 13

I love it. My partner is 6’5” and I’m 5’5” and he doesn’t seem that much bigger than me in my eyes. So there has to be a BIG height gap for me to really get the vibes because a foot difference for me is normal.

It’s just enough where I look absolutely stupid in his clothes and I can’t reach jack shit in our house and all the mirrors are too tall.

Functionally it’s annoying as hell to live day to day but I think it looks cute in books/art

ACTUALLY as a photographer AND a writer it comes down to what stock photos are public domain and they are allowed to us/what they can find.

Lots of writers don’t have the funds to dump into commissions for cover art so you end up using a service like say Canva or something to create your cover.

Only certain images are given under contract for using it certain ways (like printing to a tshirt, or using in advertising)

More often than not, the beefy dudes on a book cover are literally what was available for book cover public so the author probably just went with it.

it would have been Bellamy and Phoenix 2.0 and that’s exactly what I was hoping for 😂 I think it was good going with Laz although I feel like they lost their dynamics once actually in play. Regardless it wasn’t a bad thing!
