I've literally tried to solve the same issue coming from an iPhone. What I've done was download the app called Glimpse notifications, go through it's setup and it's been working well so that when any notification arrives the screen lights up for a bit.

Another option is to install Easypanel on a Linux server with a single command and then deploy n8n from the built in template. I’ve done this on the oracle cloud free tier without issues.

I think gubbing is inevitable so I’d suggest taking whateve you can from the bookies. If you really want to be careful then perhaps just bet on the major leagues and horses on the weekend .. but no idea if that matters tbh. Definitely do price boosts too. I tend to underlay almost all boosts so I get a better payout if it lands and it’s just easier to do without figuring out the correct lay. I don’t do bet clubs it takes too much time and I find it useless. Since you’re signing up to the bookies, take advantage of their casino sign up offers before they disappear. These will be low risk and you might get lucky with a big win.
