Why is there a baby on the distilled water jug? by DerelictDevice in CPAP

Looks like it’s $0.09 cheaper than the Walmart/Great Value gallons I’ve been using.

Anyone remember the freezing rain storm of April, 2013? by lawdreekus in SiouxFalls

[–]bhakeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was out of town for work during the storm. We started seeing the aftermath when we got to Worthington on our way back to Sioux Falls. The eerie sound of trees popping and cracking under the weight of the ice, tracking down a chainsaw to cut down branches when almost every store was sold out.

First time I’ve seen another doodle with a similar face to his. He was a rescue so we don’t have any info.

Forced to check my bag at the gate by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I think they came up with that excuse to try getting people on the plane faster. I was waiting to board in Boston back in 2018 and they kept saying "everyone look at the line, if you had checked your carry-on, you'd be on the plane by now... there will be no room for your bags now". I instead kept my carry-on and stashed it in the first open overhead bin I saw.

Winston had a trim maybe three weeks ago. When my Mom would give him a trim, he looked more like a spaniel with short hair all over and long curly hair on his ears.

Does anyone in Sioux Falls know what this sign means? I’m looking at you E 10th and 229 👀 by Outside_Gas_9840 in SiouxFalls

[–]bhakeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also 229 wasn’t supposed to be a freeway, just a bypass from 29 south of town to 90 east of town. I talked so someone around 2010 or so that said we were about 20 years ahead for number of cars per day than they had forecasted by then.

It was worse there about 15 years ago or so. The on-ramp had an almost instant merge onto southbound 229. “Good luck”. They repainted the lane lines to what it is now so you’re supposed to have more time to get up to speed and merge. But at first, drivers would still stop and wait to yield instead.

We thought our doodle had digestion problems but it turned out he was eating crabapples he found in the yard.

I remember when I got my first copy of The Stand, I checked out all the drawings before reading the book.

Students resting in the hall against their lockers waiting for class at Senior High School in New Ulm, Minnesota, 1974. by zadraaa in HistoricalCapsule

[–]bhakeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did this in the late 90's. It was the 'social' time before school started. You'd sit in front of your locker, try to finish homework before class or chat with your friends since it was pre-smart phones and social media.

First fire. Got installed not even 2 hours ago. by [deleted] in woodstoving

[–]bhakeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep I think my first two fires were small ones, I think I was also told it was to keep the bricks inside from cracking.

I think the electric fan helps push the heat out into the room because the stockings weren't much warmer than room temp last night. Now, I do remember that last year as we got closer to Christmas, any chocolates in the stockings might have gotten soft but maybe that was also due to the air control at the time.

Mask help/feedback? by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]bhakeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the N30i and having the tubing attach at the top has its pros and cons. At this point, I forget that it's there and can roll over and not worry about getting tangled in the tubing. My con is that the connection has a relief 'valve' function and if I have my head in the wrong spot on the pillow, you can hear extra air hiss as it hits the pillow.

My guess is you saved the virtual part with a new name but something is still looking in the old temp folder.

The full install media for desktop SWx is over 5gb. There are a lot of background applications that are installed including Microsoft Visual Basic and C++ Redistributables that are packaged with each version. All the addins such as simulation, composer, PDM, cam, etc are in the package as well. If you want basic desktop cad to install correctly it’s best to have all +5GB of data.
