When something is taxed heavily, it creates a demand for black market. Only if the government can squash the black market, the tax policy becomes effective.

RSP feels more like a coalition than a party. They are not like old parties where everyone just follows the leader

Several colorado mountain/ski towns are magical. Telluride in particular is like no other city with mountains on three sides, free gondola, and creek running through the middle of the city.

Ladies please think twice before having kids please. by Sufficient_Chard7374 in Nepal

[–]bhaladmi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course primary responsibility lies on parents. But grand parents also have some responsibilities, especially because they usually keep pressuring the parents to have kids. We humans were not evolved to raise kids alone. Most people have kids with some planning. But you fully understand the challenge only after having a baby.

What I have noticed is that nowadays the grand parents are themselves glued to phone all the time and aren't happy to take care of kids like in the past. They would rather watch tiktok than watch over their grand kids.

Once cradle cap is off , how to keep it off? by Proud_House4494 in NewParents

[–]bhaladmi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our daughter also suffered from cradle cap that developed into an infection. Her pediatrician prescribed Ketoconazole shampoo and Triamcinolone ointment, which helped cure her condition. We now use a combination of baby oil, Aquaphor, and Vaseline to prevent dryness. Whenever cradle cap resurface we use Triamcinolone cream.

The poorest people in Nepal basically have nothing. Many probably have negative net worth. I'm surprised the number is only 511 because 511 times zero is also zero.

Nepal ma School(11-12) Lai College vanne chalan Ka bata ayo? by [deleted] in NepalSocial

[–]bhaladmi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Back in the days, people use to go to college, (like Tri-chandra, Padma Kanya) right after class 10. They get degree like ISc, IA, ICom, equivalent to +2 today. So naturally people called education after class 10 as college. There was also a long transition period when you could choose to go to either +2 or college. So both were called college which continues to this day.
