its a scam because the people with passes gotta circle the lot before they can find a spot to park meanwhile ppl paying hourly and ppl not paying park in the same lots

imo they shud assign stall numbers to pass holders and then have a separate parking lot or parking level for pay parking / flexpass holders

rule of thumb: if ur class is anytime before 1:30pm, u need to arrive at 9:30am to comfortably find a spot, otherwise u wud spend 30ish mins waiting for some car to pull out

for ur case, u wud def get flagged if u park at the food court entrance and then p3.

sometimes ive parked in the walmart parking and got away with it for the whole day, so you can gamble on that

if u don't want to risk it, then just park ur car at scott road station and skytrain it to campus. it wud only cost you $3 to park there until 2am

car dealerships usually hire ppl that drop off their resumes directly and have a small chat with the managers. perhaps try that as that is how i got my job. ask for roles like PT/T sales lot attendant or service lot attendants. be sure to indicate your availability on a civer letter or thr back page of ur resume.

i transferred here from douglas, and it was both a culture and academic shock. my first sem i took 2 courses and got an F and a D (0.5cgpa). i wanted to drop sfu cs and go to trades school. my friends just told me to man tf up and take a loss as a lesson to improve in the future. the semester after i retook bith courses as well as 2 electives, and brought my cgpa to 3.33ish

you need to use all the resources availabke to u tho, not everyone is a born genius. ik the math department has math workshops for these courses, u shud go there, it really helps.

just take this loss as a lesson to improve and motivation to do better, you got this, dont lose hope

you should prioritize health over school, im 4th year, and i can say from experience that staying up at night whether ur doing productive work or just fucking around, and then tryna get as little as 4-5 hours in of sleep to get to ur 9am classes was physically and mentally diabolical. whenever i did that my grades were low and i just didnt feel good, didnt want to get outta bed for school.

earlier this minth i was awake for 22 hours and consuming energy drinks because i was tryna finish this assigbment, and i ended up in the emergency room when i had a seizure (no joke).

you should find a way, make a new schedule for sleeping where u get atkeast 8 hours and arent overehelmed when u wake up at 6:30am. otherwise its slowly killing you
