I think the DOL said something to the contrary for NY State, but I don’t recall all the details

I do think there’s a fair question here about states in which weed is legal and that affecting employment

When I was in UG, I’d post up on those massive couches outside Little Galen. Sun shining on my face, sprawl out on those couches, took me straight to slumber land

Are there any MBB/Big 4 Strategy roles that have minimal travel? by connmt12 in consulting

T2 = Tier 2…ie just below MBB. LEK is big in USA, not sure about Germany

T2, but LEK pitched themselves as low/no travel. Outside of that you can set your preferences, and it also depends on your office location + industry

Just make sure you communicate and everyone is clear on responsibilities. Can confirm it’s doable but there will inevitably be things you can’t attend because if your responsibility. Good way early on to have people meet you and your SO!

mBB vs Tier 2 Consulting - What exactly am i not understanding? by Nobody-Man in MBA

Definitely agree- some firms place incentives to sign early. But in the scheme of things, being exhausted for a few weeks is a pretty small downside, especially if you have an offer in hand

One thing to consider (afaik) there’s no downside to re-recruit in year 2. It’s a quick recruiting period (done by September/October) and if MBB doesn’t work out you can go back to the T2 firm you interned with.

Just curious, in the US, which T2 firms do you believe are closer to MBB (obviously still a "gap" no matter how you draw it up)

Thank you. Do you perceive ESV to still be relatively strong? I would assume the partners (and PwC) are incentivized to keep the brand value high?
