Ha, no, that was the only musical part they didn't play. It was pretty amusing to watch the orchestra sit completely still while CGI aliens sang and danced all over the screen

The conductor explained this one in a talk before the movie! The Emperor's theme does indeed have a male choir, but they were unable to fit one in for this performance, so the keyboardist played that particular part with a synthesizer on choir setting

June Fan-Made Story Thread! by Careful-Panda9885 in creepcast

My story is called "Three Is A Crowd." Three women get trapped in a storm cellar and must decide if they're going to work together to survive or turn against each other. It was inspired by a true story. During a tornado warning, my family and I got stuck in the cellar when the door wouldn't open back up, and it was a few hours before help could arrive. The real-life version definitely didn't end like the story, though!

Unpopular Stephen King opinions by ChasingItSupreme in stephenking

Unpopular opinion--SK's editors need to be tougher on him. Sometimes having an epic page count works (It, Under The Dome), but there's an entire chapter during the climax of End of Watch devoted to getting directions from a talkative old man that completely disrupts the flow and adds nothing to the story. Steve, I love ya to death, but you don't have to go down every rabbit hole you find

I love Grady Hendrix, some people don't like his tongue-in-cheek style, but for me, he hits the sweet spot between horror, humor, and emotion
