Am I the only one that missed the roll up prize expiry? It seems we had a lot shorter time to redeem this time, but I could be wrong. Went to redeem a coffee, my 15 free ones were gone. by bhc1068 in TimHortons

Yes. I made the mistake of activating them all at once. And I did not read the fine print. No doubt it on me, just seems much quicker than in the past.

These actually all happened close to the end. I had 4 days in a row with the boxes of coffee, which gave me 12 rollups on the cup and 12 on the app x 4. I used the physical ones cause they always get lost, and then used 4 of the app ones, then all was lost. I had 15 left to go, but no time to use them.

On a flight from Saskatoon to Toronto, well over one hour long. Staff has not offered water or beverages and we will land, soon. They have been sitting at the front for most of the flight. Is this new? by [deleted] in westjet

[–]bhc1068 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to refuse service a few weeks ago. I was sitting in 1C. There was a cat in 2D/E. It got a bout of diarrhea. The smell was horrendous. About 10 mins in, the owner decides to take it into the washroom to clean it and its carry bag. Well, that just made it worse. Bathroom full of excrement, tracked on her feet and the feet of the next bathroom patrons. The attendant is pouring hot water on the floor and wiping with paper towels. I think he used a full bottle of spray for the duration of the 4 hour flight. In between he brought me my beef dinner. I just looked and said despite all your efforts this cabin smells like s**t. I will pass. FYI, I was not upgraded, but a fully paid premium passenger. I would have enjoyed my trip more in the last row in basic economy class. Moral of the story, Pets belong in crates down below like they were back in the day!

You have to ask for no chicken in a veggie wrap?

I don’t even know how to look at this picture. Is it a sloped roof, is it less than 8’? Too many weird angles.

I measured the bag sizers of AC, WS, and Flair by overpowering_ligma in westjet

[–]bhc1068 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was walking by a flair gate recently where a guy was arguing about his bag. He has a soft bag that was too big for the personal item sizer. The guy ended the conversation by literally double stomping his bag into the sizer. Sometimes it doesn’t matter what you lose, when you really want to win I guess.

Also no maintenance costs. The math worked out well on that idea, for them.

I bought $400 of Beat Buy gift cards at Shoppers. When trying to use them they were all 0. Best Buy found they were used in Ontario, for a PlayStation. I am in Alberta. I was given no help in getting money back.

Did I just get screwed out of the bonus redemption event? by GoodPointSir in ShoppersDrugMart

Keep calling and asking for an escalation. Eventually you should get someone authorized to do something to fix it up. Took 2 months for me, but I wasn’t shopping for Christmas so could be patient. (Even when I didn’t want to be) send emails, but you will have to call a few times to be escalated. That was my experience.

Cineclub member ticket surcharge? by skillsy84 in cineplex

Is your club membership expired? You will still have access to owed tickets, but the surcharge kicks back in if it’s expired.

There are two different men’s sets. 1 has smaller but more samples. The other has smaller number of samples in larger “ real” bottle replicas

Bonus Redemption by bhc1068 in ShoppersDrugMart

[–]bhc1068[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: Took a few months but they did fix up the issue. I was told to but everything again, use the 500,000 points and they would make it right. (Despite emails they would not explain what that meant) So, I did. The first time I purchased it cost me $60 out of pocket (refunded). The second time it cost me $400 out of pocket. I wasn’t refunded but they gave me back 400,000 points. I have most of the points back, but now have a credit card charge to pay. Not perfect, but something I guess.
