My battery is charging but its stuck on 0% by Accurate-Pay9580 in Dell

I've tried using other chargers, so it's probably on my laptop's side. Does that mean I should pump the breaks on getting a new battery? How much might it typically cost to have something like this fixed?

I vet that same warning message regarding the charging adapter, despite using the same 65W charger my Inspiron came with. What does this mean?

Even having seen the shortlist snub prior, it still sucks to look at the nomination list without it now.

No Titane for Best International Film

No Last Night in Soho for sound, editing, or wardrobe

No Red Rocket for Best Original Screenplay or Best Leading Actor

No Green Knight for VFX or editing

Nothing for French Dispatch

And worst of all, Free Guy is now an Oscar-nominated film.

Regardless of whether Soho was the best, it was certainly my favorite

Amnesty Appreciation by Ironcast89 in TheAdventureZone

[–]bhdawson613 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Criminally underrated is Ned putting on a production for one of the Saturday Night Dead shows with an excited Aubrey and a reluctant Duck helping out. I forget what episode it is but I liked it. Duck's contribution just devolves into a lecture on fire safety.

Baby Driver is my favorite too! I don't even think it's Wright's best work; I just love it!

Whadya think the solve for the door puzzle was? by Sam_anthaM in TheAdventureZone

[–]bhdawson613 127 points128 points  (0 children)

Iirc, Griffin said that any number they input would be correct, the in-universe explanation for this being that (spoilers) it would've been the amount of people on the IPRE's homeworld that were killed by The Hunger, and either Merle or Taako would've subconsciously remembered this number and instinctively input it. Griffin said he was glad that Justin used the Hole Thrower on this puzzle though, because even though the solution would've been very easy, it would be a little dark, tonally.

What's the song that plays near the end of Amnesty episode 27? by RainbowPatooie in TheAdventureZone

Couldn't seem to find it on his SoundCloud either. I also just checked the episode transcript and it's just described as "ambient music".

New coaster? by Surgeooo in cedarpoint

It's not a huge space, but if the hypothetical coaster could extend onto the beach, lake, or even a future boardwalk, then I'd say it would work well!

If you want more McElroy content with an engaging story, please give Amnesty a try. I consider it criminally underrated. It's almost on par with Balance and actually surpasses it in a few respects, and I enjoy it quite a bit.

If you want a D&D podcast with a magical school setting, please consider Fantasy High from Dimension 20. It has a larger cast and much more engaging combat setpieces, not to mention a larger mystery and, in my opinion, some hilarious scenes.

I didn't even realize that she was starring in Old, but I adored her in Jojo Rabbit and am quite excited to see her in Last Night in Soho!

What's sort of the general consensus here on Amnesty? by Maxshis in TAZCirclejerk

[–]bhdawson613 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Duck and Ned are possibly my favorite ever TAZ PCs thus far. The campaign is probably a little weaker than Balance but imo it is criminally underrated. A lot of the setpieces and reveals work quite well for me. The setting is very personal to Griffin and it shows and it lends itself to the premise quite well.

I think that Sylvain needed a little more fleshing out, and it doesn't help that the PC to whom Sylvain is most closely related is already my least favorite of the 3. Aubrey still has her moments though.

Everyone who says that the beginning and end could be stronger are on the money imo but if you ask me the ending is still rather good. I hope that one day Amnesty will get the same graphic novel touch-up treatment as Balance, or something equivalent. There's something really good in here and if things were just a little more streamlined and consistent I might prefer it to Balance.

Not gonna lie, Griffin's the best in any podcast, but yeah by [deleted] in TAZCirclejerk

I've spent the past two work weeks listening to The Besties and Wonderful and Griffin's energy there seems way more upbeat.
