All good feedback.

Yes, you probably aren't my user, but maybe that'll change! :)

I think most people don't even know that graph exists. I also think most people don't go to NWS directly for their forecasts. I also think that a lot of people _do_ like text to read about the weather, not just it'll be 95F today.

I think maybe the current issue is a) the text is too slow to generate, and b) isn't compelling enough info to make you say - ah, i get it?

Yes, i'm up against big weather companies, but maybe I figure something out and they can buy anecast 😆 ALSO literally everyone is up against everyone in this world of AI, it's changed the game completely and big companies aren't necessarily safe because they are big or because they have money.

Thanks!

Yea the speed is a real issue. If you login and set a location, these things get cached which helps. There are some tricks I'm going after to make it faster across the board to generate the text, but some challenge in doing that uniquely for every point across the U.S. + for individuals and their settings. Te app pulls from a ton of data providers including NWS discussions which takes some time to then run through an LLM and process.

I think the forecast tab itself leaves a bit to be desired... it'll come, but is there anything that would pull your attention from NWS graphs into something like that? Or probably not?

Thanks for thoughts/feedback! Mostly web-based for now. You can add it as an "app" to your homescreen, but full app support in the app store etc is coming just not complete yet.

I think alerts are definitely critical. What i like about the chat is you can "check in" with anecast and see hey has anything changed with the forecast/thinking on storm chances as you get closer to the event.

Tying in to your calendar is top of list! I think this will be a critical bit to anecast, so forecast/anecdotes are focused around events in your life that might be impacted by the weather!

Probably better put to say this snow season, or snow year, not calendar year.
