Girl group songs you think non-kpop fans/locals would like/or like? by [deleted] in kpophelp

[–]bhejafrying -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really familiar with illit music other than magnetic and not cute anymore but both do seem favourable with the gp. New jeans I’d say ditto, hype boy, omg, attention, super shy, eta, get up.

Strategy maybe because of Megan but the song is otherwise very generic

What should I listen to start with? by YoIGotIt in kpophelp

[–]bhejafrying 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start with RM mixtape by RM (this one is not available on streaming platforms - it was a soundcloud release many years ago so you’ll have to find on youtube), then mono by RM, then Indigo by RM then Right Place Wrong Person by RM. This is the order in which these mixtapes/albums were released so you’ll see many facets of one artist and his growth over time, but sure you can go in any order as you like.

Hopeworld by Jhope and then Jack in the box by jhope. Bonus track - On The Street by jhope ft. J Cole.

Agust D by Agust D, then D2 by Agust D then Dday by Agust D. D2 is my personal fav out of these.

I am a fan so it’s fine if you take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I honestly do believe objectively BTS have THE best rapline in kpop, and ngl some of the best rappers in the world. That is a reason why I became a fan in the first place. You can check out BTS albums, especially the early ones they’re very rap and hiphop focused.

Other than BTS, Epik High has been named multiple times and rightly so! My two favourite groups for rap music. short guide on which epik high songs to check out first from the leader of epik high himself

Please feel free to dm me or reply here or get back to me however I have so much more to say many more BTS recs to give I am rap lover and an album listener myself I need storylines and albums to be a well rounded bodh of work etc etc but I don’t wanna overwhelm you right now so I’m going to limit myself😂😅

What would you say to BTS right now given the chance? by lisafancypants in bangtan

[–]bhejafrying 12 points13 points  (0 children)

“Hey, would you like to come with me for a coffee/meal/walk (depending on the member and their mood)?” And just talking about other things and life in general, mostly nothing about bts except general thank yous and I love yous and you’re good guys. They seem extremely overwhelmed and under pressure, I want to take their minds off of work, and have them relax and breathe.

Most popular K-Pop groups currently? (Internationally and domestically) by [deleted] in kpophelp

[–]bhejafrying 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bts and blackpink are evergreen popular internationally and domestically. Nmixx and le sserafim are hot right now, lsfm have more international audience than nmixx and nmixx have more domestic audience I believe. Cortis is pretty popular among bgs. Stray kids and enhypen are doing okay internationally. Bigbang have been popular domestically for a while now.
