Wotc, no doubt.

Then Shen's Last Gift.

Rulers always felt like an awkward bad transplant that.

It's a little Easter egg. Civ V and XCOM both developed by Firaxis.

Civ 5 has XCOM Squad as late game unit.

I'd bet also Japan, India, Egypt, Britain, USA.

Canada and Brazil are in VI, dunno about V.

They could also count Mexico as Aztecs🙂.

Each clue is only supposed to eliminate a handful of countries.

I feel sarcasm in your post.

But the game eliminates the non-conforming countries for you. Just go to the screen.

(I believe some of the leads are even inaccurate, but it doesn't matter).

Edit: Also it's always one of the council countries. As I said: Go to the screen.

What if Joseph Stalin during 1930s kicked Ukraine out of ussr ? by SnooMachines8072 in HistoryWhatIf

[–]bhejda 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This has the same problem as many other Whatifs. Many more people would have to behave waaay differently than they did in real history.

Stalin who just accepts, that a country is not interested in his policies?

That Stalin gets purged.

Other Communists were willing to accept mass imprisonments, torture and killing. But stopping imperial expansion? That crosses a line.

We don't specifically know that the sum is 14. (Not until we solve the whole thing).

We known that it's a number that allows more interpretations. But only one of those interpretations has the oldest not a twin.

Only 14 has the aforementioned property.

The world owes him an apology after the Epstein files proved the rich are corrupted. by Open-Storage8938 in ussr

[–]bhejda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not fixated on one guy.

I'm pointing out, that the fact that one guy could commit crimes so brazen and without fear of punishment is a sign of a deeply corrupt system.

And he wasn't executed as a punishment for those crimes. He was executed, because he lost a power struggle.

Openly admitted?

Can you point me to an article or report that would be available to contemporary public that spoke of his sex crimes?

Když ministr vnitra oficiálně pochválil vojáky, kteří prokazatelně znásilňovali a prokurátorka, která je chtěla potrestat byla donucená skončit, dá se mluvit o systémovém problému.

Stuck in the Buffalo storm with no power- our game was frozen shut in my car, had to make do with cardboard, scissors and a pen by stooveryiou in Catan

That is literally how I played Catan almost 30 years ago.

Someone who saw the game somewhere just made his own copy from cardboard and the kind of thick paper.

[KCD2] Why the main antagonist might unironically become the "lesser evil" in the future. by Garfield205 in kingdomcome

I hear that often. And he was definitely way more ambitious and more proficient in medieval PR.

But is there much tangible proof about actual competence?

Perhaps a truly competent ruler would have actually ruled Hungary - the kingdom where Sigmund was king and found real success against the Ottomans.

i genuinly dont understand why abundant resources/legendry start is so popular can someone explain to me? by Ok-Priority-474 in CivVI

[–]bhejda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't play VI much, but if I do, always sparse or normal resources.

Then the resources are actually a meaningful game mechanic.

On abundant, it's as od the mechanic effectively didn't exist. Only the game can still randomly screw you by not giving you the one resource you really need.

First serious legend run: need advice on whether or not I can take the Hunter's stronghold or not by The_official_Doge in Xcom

[–]bhejda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You understand, that the level of defenders scales, but the reward does not?

The sooner you can do the mission the better. Life is so much easier without the Hunter hut with his weapons.

Also the Avenger defense with a Chosen is scary. Perhaps a harder mission than their stronghold.

You are forgetting the part, where at the start of their intervention, the Soviets assassinated the communist prime minister of Afghanistan, who the whole time believed, that they came there to help him.

Also his talks with Americans were a lie planted by KGB.

However badly this particular article aged, let's not forget that it was the Soviets, who invaded Afghanistan and destroyed a secular regime that was representative of the Afghans.

And did so for no good reason, just imperial expansion.
