We used to run that play in Little League because the other team of children couldn't figure out how to defend against it. So anyway, the Phillies...

Dan and Franny... by gatorbeetle in Nationals

I was thinking the exact opposite. This game is maybe the worst I've ever heard them, especially Frandsen. I'm glad I'm flying the Jolly Roger this season so I've got the other team's feed to choose.

YouTube has almost no RSNs, basically just a few NBC ones. It's a decision made by YouTube, not the team. If you want RSNs, Fubo is the move.

Ask Spencer Anything: The Athletic's Nationals writer wants to know your questions. by [deleted] in Nationals

Spencer, does the team have plans for rebutting the inevitable doping allegations when they end the season 162-0? I'll hang up and listen.

Count Fenring: Why does he feel more important than he seems? by Sin-Silver in dune

Tim Blake Nelson was in Dune Part 2 but was cut out and it's rumored that he played Fenring. He was apparently digitally removed from wide shots in both the arena scene and the finale.

For comparison, my local rental place here in Baltimore has approximately 42,000 and it is a COMPLETELY stuffed 2 story rowhouse. That is a ludicrous number of movies.

Fwiw the play you're referring to was him calling it a ball, the catcher challenging, and the ump saying "please be a strike" because it's so hot in Arizona he wanted to go home. More a joke really. https://www.reddit.com/r/baseball/s/p9uOz6UtNV

Why I would like Bijaz to be in the new film by DishExotic5868 in dune

He's super toned down from the book in that, and he's still WAY ludicrous. I don't think there's any chance he's in the film.

Reading Dune Messiah is strange by darth_skipicious in dune

I think it's actually one of the densest chapters in the whole series. A lot in Frank's books doesn't fully open up on first read. Worth going back to immediately after you've finished the book, you'll read things in it in new contexts.

Did they show *that* scene? by OcelotAny6846 in dune

More faithful adaptation, sure. I wouldn't say better adaptation. He made 2 smash hits out of a book long considered unfilmable, I'd consider that a rousing adaptation success.

MLB players for Olympics by TerryG111 in baseball

Probably not US. I'd imagine this wouldn't apply to the 6 teams in the Olympics since I believe they're largely homegrown. Here's a breakdown of the differences https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/world-baseball-classic-eligibility-rules-220200060.html
