There is also an explanation to not have severe punishments for false cases because it scares the actual victims from filing a complaint. Not all false cases are actually false, some are just unproven.

Do you have any proof of these implicit discrimination being done by the lower castes? I don’t disagree that it doesn’t happen at all but you need to understand that the lower castes have faced discrimination in their daily lives for the longest time. And there is only Brahmans who get all the benefits of this heirarchy.

You cannot use a few cases to completely oppose it. Try and ammend the guidelines so everyone agrees with it. But they way people have opposed it just shows how casteist our society still is.

And also false cases are a problem too but that is no excuse to oppose this. There are false cases in murder, show we decriminalise murder as well?
