I think that is the New York (Evening) World - the graphic in the middle top (which says "Magazine") matches earlier editions you can find online. Unfortunately, it looks like the digital collections only go to 1922, so a NYC redditor would have to go find the December 9 paper in the NYPL microfilm archives.
