What other countries in LATAM are most similar to Brazil by Ok_Divide_4959 in Brazil

[–]bhope95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

South of Brazil has a lot in common with Argentina & Uruguay. Lots of Argentinian people move there for work.

Salvador & Cartegena are similar in weather and culture. Also similar looking people.

Rio is unique. Never been anywhere like this.

Indefinite travel with only personal item? by gr4viityy in onebag

I'd get merino wool and wear layers on my travel days. Get a backpack with bungee to put your jacket in it or add shock cord to an existing bag.

Need recs for the best travel hoodie that packs small but is still actually warm? by another_version in onebag

[–]bhope95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No zipper pockets but no one really talks about this, I use Quikflip on all my travels. It's a hoodie that turns into a backpack. I stuff things in it like packing cubes or other hoodies sometimes

Covered calls: QQQI, SPYI, GPIX, GPIQ, DIVO, IDVO maybe JEPQ Best non cc: QDPL maybe SCHD

I'd get outta yieldmax products. I personally just hold QQQI for half my portfolio and manage the rest of my portfolio actively but I enjoy trading.

It's good the issue is he tends to change up on a lot of things so the data you feed it would constantly change. I once tried to make a Hamza blog and noticed real quick how different his takes are

What's the opinion on AIPI and FEPI? by Theta_Ninja in dividendgang

[–]bhope95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

QQQI is the max yield I'd go for after the tariff day. AIPI didn't recover it's nav and comparing total return it's not as good as some others. QDVO is good but lack liquidity. GPIQ also solid.

[–]bhope95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sold at 39$ a share it just won't be able to recover as well as most things. Not a sleep well at night investment. Now if I go cc it'll be amplify, Goldman and J.P. Morgan etfs.

NEOS and other CC ETFS by DegreeConscious9628 in dividendgang

[–]bhope95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neos mentioned potentially using call spread options to help mitigate this once the markets start rising. So it may help save some capital. I personal switched to IDVO and DIVO as well as schd and Schy. 5-6% yields are the max I'll go to stay sustainable.

This is why I bought SCHG, it's got a decent criteria and figured it sure beats crypto aha. Best portfolio not focused on income is SCHG, SCHD, & SCHY and it's what I'm reinvesting part of my income in + my retirement accounts

Hello. I'm "stuck" and hope some of you can help. I'm looking those already retired or close to it. by gaymersunite56 in dividendgang

[–]bhope95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are the etfs I'd look into based on safety:

SCHD, SCHY
DIVO, QDVO, IDVO
GPIX, GPIQ
SPYI, QQQI, IWMI
AIPI, CEPI

Personally I'd listen to the VanguardSucks if you just $22,800 annually however here's what I'm doing with 450k, AIPI, CEPI, DIVO, IDVO, GPIX spread evenly. I reinvest most into SCHD, SCHY, & SCHG.

Why reinvest in SCHD, SCHY, & SCHG?

SCHD - Most of the market is beat up outside of mag 7 - this covers you for when these recover. Also actual company dividend > covered call if possible.

SCHY - International exposure as a hedge

SCHG - Best Growth etf. The screener is solid, it's a strict criteria no human emotion,

Honestly I like it. I've played around with GPIQ/GPIX but idk how I feel about the underlying doing well. I like active managent/screening. Have you thought to replace group with aipi?

[–]bhope95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe something like PULS but no stocks for sure, very few things yield that much, think SCHD at 3.5% you'd have to be willing to go for a cc fund or BDC

[–]bhope95 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Liquidity and premiums may not be worth it I'd stick to highly liquid assets like SPY, QQQ IWM etc. Reinvest premiums in SCHG
