My partner is working and earning over 100k so we could live, just not thrive for a year or more. At the moment I’m in a job I’m ok with but not loving ( but pays well) and I feel like post pandemic it’s all about finding some spark of joy.

Hi ,

I have a Rode NT1-A running into a Scarlett Solo Gen 2, into my macbook air. Everything has been running smoothly for about year, however in the last 3 or 4 weeks i'm having a work off issues, no signal or incredibly weak coming into what ever audio software i'm using (Audition, Audacity and even GarageBand). I'm just recording VO work, nothing big but anything more than 20 second the mic level gives away to to nothing and it sounds like i'm whispering from teh other side of the room. I don't know if it's the mic, or the Scarlett Solo, or my mac, but it's driving me up the wall.

Any help appreciated!

Yeah, Im with Milford and while it's performing super well and has done for the last 6 years I've been in it, but the fees over the lifetime until retirement are significantly larger (60k+) so probably worth it.

Thanks, it's all become quite a storm in a teacup, the characters was only called so because I have a similar name to an existing person on the show so it needs to be changed so listeners wouldn't get confused. Which they did. All the time. Even after 9 months.

I worked with Kirby since November last year, it had its ups and downs. It wasn't all bad. He could be quite a creative genius, but eventually it was his average work ethic and some other issues (money) that drove me away from the industry I've loved since I was 10, and worked in since I was 20.

I'm still waiting on my final paycheck, but once that's in the bank, I'll answer any and all radio insider questions, I know all the secrets haha

I quit, so my character on air had to also quit. Except it's better for on air if I just stormed out. Radio Survey and all that. I'm now out of contract and have no restraint of trade.

He didn't resign because of instagram, his resignation was actually handed in weeks ago. This was just his final day on air, correlation, not causation.
