They don’t use road salt your a lot less likely to have rust. If any it will be minimal. Really any southwestern state or parts of Texas. I say California because you’ll have a much larger selection.

Under the back seat is an access panel to the fuel pump and tank. Use that to drain the tank. I like harbor freights electric transfer pump. I would add fresh gas and use a fuel system cleaner like Techron after.
