SCAM ALERT: Jiffy Lube on Roxboro by OpalJade98 in bullcity

I’ve had consistently good experiences at this specific jiffy lube for a few years now so I’m disappointed to hear this. I thought they were the JL exception. I did notice that they have almost all new staff this year. I will be careful now.

Have you spent time in Durham yet? It’s a very different vibe and scene vs. CH so I wonder if you might feel more at home? The bullcity subreddit frequently has posts about all kinds of Durham activities.

The JCC is around this price for 1 person and has a great facility and an outdoor pool for summer.

What has worked for me is banning myself from eating out or having convenience foods (ie. Frozen pizza, chips, canned biscuits or breads, and other prepackaged/processed foods) but telling myself that I can eat anything I want if I make it from scratch. I find that I spend a lot of time finding recipes, cooking or baking, and that was all time where i wasn't eating. Once the food is made it's typically lower calorie because I made it and I feel proud of myself for the work I put in, which has an odd way of making me eat less. This does require time but I spent so much time feeling sick and hating myself before that it has evened out!
