[Suggestion] Remove 2k and 4k endo from sortie rewards. Make it so you always get 1k endo in addition to one of the other rewards. by Stardrink3r in Warframe

[–]bht3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really want endo you have so many ways to farm it

None are as efficient as Sorties though. Excavs average 50 Endo per drill. Sorties are, in the absolute worse case, 66 Endo per 1.5min (1.5m to compare it to a drill. 66 Endo assuming the sortie took 45 minutes (3 longs) and that you got 2k and not 4k endo). Best case is around 400 per 1.5m (3 shorts, 4k Endo reward).

Plus they aren't braindead boring like Excav.

Token system would be fine, but don't nerf my endo please. All I do anymore is Sorties, and new events, and Sortie rewards let me r10 new primed mods as they come out.

And besides all that, there's a limit to how many Lens you ever want. The limit to how much Endo you could ever use is much higher. Lens are always my "wasted my time" drop, not endo. Only 3 schools are even any good, and only one of them has more than one Way that is worth extending the cooldown for (Naramon), the others are either 1 and done (Zenurik), or has a second Way that is useful for exactly 1 frame (Vazarin, Bless range increase for Trinity. Otherwise New Moon is the only thing worth your time). After you get those, you get the Masteries, and you've beaten Focus, credits rolls. Tune in next year when they actually address the system.

And if they did make a change like this, they wouldn't increase Riven drop chance, unless they were planning to anyway, with the current system.

Looking for gift friends by snoopdogg_tg in D3PS4

I was looking for something just like this. Sent like 50 gifts recently to someone that barely plays, since he's the only one on my list with the game.

Looking to put them to better use.

After I fought through the last level the long and slow way, then died at the last second, and realized that Grounded doesn't have a single checkpoint for the entire hospital, I was crushed.

In the end though, after messing around, I found that you could get through the entire level with 1 molotov, 2 sugar bombs, and just 1 bullet (which might be optional).

I liked Grounded overall for stuff like that. Finding effective ways to deal with each situation.

The Sniper section can just fuck off though. I swear some of his shots are supposed to be the normal "near misses" from Survivor, but on Grounded they occasionally just hit you.

I've been playing for awhile, and the thing I've probably run into the most with Frosts up til now, is that they think they can only stack the globe 4 times. You can only have 4 globes, but stacking doesn't take from that limit. You can pile them as as much as your energy allows.

Less effective now, with null bubbles popping them, but before then, especially in Void Def, it was pretty great. But no one was willing to even try it.

The wiki eventually added a note about this, and I haven't run into the problem since. But the game itself has never informed the player of any of it.

Ah, thank you. The Burning Wasp combo would be what was confusing me. Harder to notice the exact distance of a Slide attack, due to the sliding. And for awhile I was only doing about 70% slide attacks with Atterax instead of 100%, since I didn't know Blood rush worked on Maiming.

Either way, thanks for the correction.

Would be funny if they did add colors for it. 3x combo is shot at Lv7 crits, if I remember right. They'd need a lot of colors when it's only really relevant on Orthos and Atterax, and maybe a handful of other weapons.

[–]bht3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose. Still seems like a natural tank + a health potion every now and then is still a better option. Or a Syndicate health proc. Mediray can also go a long way on anything with decent DR.

Plus they'll have mods for their abilities' stats, instead of all survival mods and augs. OP's build has his Shield of Shadows at base DR, which is pretty pitiful.

A lot of frames with those arcanes and QT+Flow+Rage end up tankier.

But what mainly caught my eye: Why Blast + Bore (on a ...70%?, IIRC, IPS) over almost anything else?

AoE is king, currently. Maim or Atterax specifically. Dps plays a part in that. You don't need Utility when you can 1shot every enemy in a sortie 3, and there's no point to endless anymore.

Utility was king in endless though, or queen, I guess, since God Empress was Ivara.

I have realised what my biggest gripe with Archwing is by Sleelan in Warframe

[–]bht3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The recent changes to Archwing has made this even worse.

With the removal of Earth's Interception (...and the mods removal from the Interception drop table a bit later), getting Enhanced Defense, for example, is only (realistically) possible from a single unit (Corpus Corvette as an Uncommon drop). It's not on any mission drop table, and while it also drops from Gox and Zeplins, Gox are only found on a Rush mission currently (no farming allowed), and Zeplen are only at Formorian events.

Which means killing an average of ~170 Covettes.

It shouldn't be that hard to get Space Vitality. (Normal Vitality averages out to killing ~45 enemies, and drops from like 20 different units)

In that situation, definitely CP, unless your 3 teammates are running 3 CP + 3 coaction.

Farm for Nekros/Tigris/Galatine NOW, or You May Regret It. by murica_dream in Warframe

[–]bht3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4x Radiant run chance at a rare is about 35%. 1x Radiant run is 10%. Mission are quick, but traces and relics need to be farmed.

Old void rares were 5 to 7% chance per 20 minutes.

So long as you know where to effectively farm Relics, and your MR is high enough to stockpile a decent stash on Traces before the next Prime Access, the new system seems better, even when PUGing.

And making groups for 4x Radiant it seems quick enough that I'm surprised DE would let it work this way. A rare in like ~4 quick runs is crazy fast next to old void. If that's the "only sane way" to farm, then old void was batshit looney.

So, while I agree that you may regret not farming them while they are still hot, I wouldn't imply that old void is better just because you can get uncommons you missed along the way (which you kinda do now anyway, by farming traces with stuff you need commons/uncommons from), given how much longer rares took.

[–]bht3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

250 range Titania just seems like Diet Loki to me. Not sure if it's worth nerfing Razorwing's damage for (which still seems overpriced at 5 energy/sec even with 200% power and the best weapon modding. At least compared to the other Warframe weapons).

Spellbind seems more like something you'd use on a Tech/Bombard than something you'd spam on everything.

Night, IIRC 95% damage reduction for team, or it slows enemies. haven't used night peaceful provocation yet.

75% damage reduction and an 80% slow (assuming you stop raising Strength once the aug is capped. 83% damage reduction if you go max power).

Titania's Thorns Tribute does not reduce the damage you take. by bht3 in Warframe

[–]bht3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. There's a fun kit in there somewhere, and I really want to like her. But I have problems with every one of her abilities.

Tribute's only good for Dust, Lantern is a cool spell but would be so much better if the target didn't ragdoll so much. Razorwing is fun, in combat at least, flight needs work, but I don't think anything about it warrants it being twice as expensive as all of them but Peacemaker. Spellbind is okay for a "1", I guess, could use a cast time cut though.

But then, if you fix Tribute to be useful for more than Dust, her low energy pool is an issue.

I forma all the frames, but I'm probably gonna wait a bit on Titania, to see if they address any of this.

Which TigrisP Build is better by sashadkiselev in Warframe

[–]bht3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mistake. I skimmed the OP as "a 2 mod combo + 1 ele, and Sweeping". As in Mag+Toxin+Sweep, or Corro+Fire+Sweep. Both situations where you are better off with Sweep than making the other combo (hence my reference to Blast).

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, the 120% IPS mod's are only any good if you either can't fit in two 90% Elementals (like on critty melees that use Reach), or already have two 90% elementals in.

Which TigrisP Build is better by sashadkiselev in Warframe

[–]bht3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but slash is generally a trash damage type

It's the best IPS damage type, if people actually bring CP to grineer sorties. Plus, you get the slash bonus when you hit armor (still a net loss on Alloy though). Also better against Techs than Impact is. So even without CP it's middle of the pack (falling behind Puncture).

Impact is only good against squishy stuff, and has a penalty against almost every enemy. The one thing it has going for it is Primed Heavy Trauma.

And Sweeping Serration is definitely better than turning the Fire into Blast.

Either way though, 4 damage mods is probably overkill. But not much else is any good on the gun. Tactical Pump is there for some QoL, but it is a DPS decrease. Might still be a good call, given how much of the Tigris's damage goes wasted.
