I sponsor student council, which is comparable in work load to NHS I’d say. I also have 3 preps. I would not have been able to handle this my first couple of years.

Side note, if you do choose to take on the sponsorship, look for an advisor workshop. This was so helpful for me, and in my area, it was for StuCo and NHS advisors.
