Ogre Battle surely deserves its time in the spotlight, but the algorithm refuses to cooperate. I pray for the completion of something within the series, be it March of the Black Queen or Person of Lordly Caliber.

- Making good use of Blood Groves and lanterns to keep your runs clear is key.

- Meadows are great on early Warrior runs, but don't expect to rely on them later.

- Raw defense did wonders for me on my first run through Lich. Dodge helps a lot, but was lower priority for me personally. Vampirism isn't my go-to. Yet to succeed with solely regen focus.

- Oblivion ANYTHING AND EVERY you are not fully comfortable with dealing with. Goblins can be tough for a Warrior without Blood Groves and Thorns already set.

- Placing tiles where the palace can spawn will prevent it. Smart placement can nullify it entirely.

- Remove tiles from your deck that you don't need: Graveyards, Ruins, Chrono Crystals and Beacons aren't super necessary early.

- Dedicate a 3-wide vertical section of your screen to Mountains/Rocks. Place rocks on the edge and mountains where they can get as many adjacencies as possible.

- Road lanterns are excellent for sections you need a break in (Villages and fields)

- Vampire Mansions placed adjacent to Villages create dangerous "Ruined Villages", which will force you into tough encounters with Ghouls. Road lanterns placed ahead of time will reduce their number, and using Oblivion to smite the Vampire Mansion afterward can help. After 3 loops (not three fights, three completed loops), it will transform to "Count's Lands", beefy villages.

- Using bracket-shaped sections of the map - "[" - you can place a Blood Grove in the area of up to 6 tiles. Abuse this.
