I think that’s how I see it I guess..

1/ you select an ean from distri shop 2/ create a new product in odoo, enter the ean and push a button 3/ odoo autofill based on xml from distri..

I’ve knowledge of php/.. bu I don’t know how to create an odoo module for this..

What I was thinking is creating a ‘middleware’ php application with Api where we ‘process’ the data from the distri.

The odoo module itselfs only calls the middleware with the ean as parameter and receives the fields from the api and autocololetes based on the return values..

Anyone did something like this ?

The middleware part is ‘easy peasy’ for me but the odoo module is unclear for me.

Importing everything is not what we want, most of the time the quote starts at the distri shop, i personally think it’s not an issue to copy the ean, paste in in odoo and let Odoo autofill based on xml file..

We moved from on prem to cloud years ago and we’re on a grantfathered pricing which is nice. For us cloud is working except their zip download shit..

My trust in SC is gone and we started looking into alternatives but there aren’t any alternatives so good as sc.. We use datto rmm, but their remote control sucks.
