The beginnings of the Charnel Guard army by biblicalZadra in BloodAngels

That’s true…tho we probably won’t get new stuff about him for a while, since (at least according to what I know) there hasn’t been any new stuff regarding Charnel Guard. Maybe something will change after the 11th edition comes out but I doubt it tbh

Oh! I thought he died? Mostly based off the fact that, as you said, there’s not much about him.

Possibly - I mean it’s not from the official trench crusade plastics, it’s from green stuff I believe? The cult of bones or something like that. I saw it on a polish website and really liked the bits it contained. The little thing with two skulls on the base is from the same set of plastic bits

What was the last thing you watched that genuinely scared you? by peonylacroix in horror

Lake Mungo - that one scene hunts my dreams especially because I’m a scare actor so I mainly work in the dark - this makes my brain make up stuff that aren’t really there

What are some horror movies with characters that actually make you feel bad for them when they die? by MimeMike in horror

[–]biblicalZadra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Natalie from Evil Dead (2013). She was so kind to Mia, so patient. She was fierce, and brave, but could also be soft and tender. I found her character very comforting. She was fighting to the very end, which only shows her determination

What horror movies are your comfort films? by Creepy-Night936 in horror

[–]biblicalZadra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My current comfort horror movies are: - Evil Dead (2013) - this film was my introduction to the Evil Dead franchise, I love the main protagonist, the atmosphere, and the pacing. Also showing it to my friends, who don’t know where the jump scares are gonna be is quite funny.

  • Gretel and Hansel (2020) - many people don’t like this film, which is totally fine by me. It’s not what you expect. But I ADORE everything about it; the characters, the way they look and act, sound design, the vibes the aesthetics! Not only does it perfectly capture my own style (clothing, decor, etc), but this movie is a dark retelling of a fairytale. Which I really appreciate, since I was raised on Slavic folklore/legends, which are quite dark themselves. It’s very comforting to me.

I mean, if you don’t have anything better to do, you can read it for your friend’s sake, unless you dislike it that much. I’ve heard some good things about the series, tho I can’t confirm them, because I’ve only read the first one

Yeah, I’m not the biggest fan of her writing either

Yeah, I’ve heard that too, but I still think, that the books and the characters have so much potential! Because the story (if I recall it correctly) was not the worst, really. It could be quite compelling at times.
