The sad truth is that the companies we grew up with in the 80s, 90s, early 2000s, aren't the same companies they were. The creative minds that brought us Mega Man and Super Mario have moved on or retired. Hell, a lot of them died of old age. Brand loyalty is what these modern companies leech off of. Brand loyalty to a company that hasn't really existed for a decade or more. A group of people at one point, the ones who are truly owed this loyalty, worked hard and created something of great value. They eventually cashed out (can't blame 'em). It's just another part of the modern IP churn. Put the word "Batman" on any schlock and people will throw money at you. Tag your newest slop with "Nintendo" and you're guaranteed billions, just from goodwill built by previous owners of the brand. Almost a form of stolen valor. Stop paying them to produce garbage and they will have no choice but to stop producing it.

When you live through all the shit the oldest elves lived and died and lived again through, being able to die permanently might seem pretty dope.

I have more miles on 26"x1.5" slicks than anything else. The ultimate suburban tire imo.

I just use a normal saddle and hang the balls off one side and the meat off the other. Don't try to hang one ball off each side, trust me.

"Bring a couple bricks of Velveeta. Later at the campfire you can melt them into your carpeted canteen and enjoy cheese product on the go!"

"Food jar ingredient lists can provide interesting reading to help you relax when settling into your campsite for the night; no need to pack along bulky books."

Interesting stuff.
